Chapter 18: To the Doctor

Russia

I sat in the back seat with Ame on my lap and Aussie in the seat next to me. He had his face turned away from me, probably mad that I knocked out his ass.

"Australia." The Administrator spoke from the driver's seat, not taking their eyes off the road.

"What?" Australia looked in their direction.

"You're grounded for a year." I frown. Bitch deserves worse than that.

"Whatever!" He turned back to the window. 

America passed out after a few minutes of driving and my worry kept growing every second. I felt the car come to a stop and looked up to notice that we were at the hospital.

I got out with America in my arms, the Administrator and Australia soon following. We walked in and the Administrator set up an appointment.

We sat waiting for a doctor to come get Ame. Apparently only the Administrator was allowed inside with him.

After a few minutes, a doctor came out and guided the Administrator to a room. I sat there, internally panicking.

"Umm...Russia..?" Aussie spoke up.

"The hell do you want?" Venom laced every word. I was still not apposed to dropping his ass if he tried anything.

"I wanted to say.." He paused for a little while.

"Spit it out already!"

"I'm sorry!" Australia looked down at his hand as if they were the most interesting thing ever.

"Sorry!?" I turned to face him, anger in my eyes. "America is currently in a doctor's office because of you and you're just sorry!? If my children are dead, I will show you no mercy."

"I-" Aussie tried to talk but I'm not in the mood to listen.

"Zip it! I don't want to hear anything you have to say!" I turn away from him and stare at the door where the Administrator took America.

Fear and panic were boiling inside me. I hope everything is ok.

I started to bounce my leg, a nervous habit of mine. Australia shifted in the chair next to me, clearly uncomfortable with being next to a guy who wants to snap him in half.

"How long has it been?" Australia mumbled under his breath. He kept asking questions and I started to get annoyed. I stared daggers at him, immediately making him shut up.

I went back to staring at the door until I saw Ame and the Administrator walk out. I ran up to them. "Is everything okay?!"

"Yes, the punch only moved them a bit. The babies are fine and so is America." The Administrator answered calmly.

I looked back at Aussie. "Consider yourself lucky."

Australia shuffled past me and hugged America. I narrowed my eyes, how dare he hug Ame after what he did?

"America, I'm sorry." Meri looked at me with a confused expression.

"Dude, what the hell?" Ame pushed Aussie away from him. "You punch me in the stomach and expect me to forgive you?"

"No, I don't expect you to forgive me. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry. It was wrong for me to do that." Australia left and walked out to the car.

"I don't believe his apology." I hugged Ame protectively.

"I know, let's just go home. I'm tired." I nod and pick him up.

I carried him to the car and settled down in the backseat as Aussie sat in the front with the Administrator.

The Administrator drove us home while everyone remained silent. America fell asleep in my arms like he always does.

I carried him to his room once we got back to the orphanage. I laid down on the bed with him and pulled the blankets over us.

I felt my body relax while sleep took hold of me.
