I slowly awoke from my sleep when I felt something tighten around my waist. I opened my eyes, only to be met with Killua's sleeping face. I felt the heat slowly rise to my cheeks. 𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦?! I thought, as I tried to move away from him.
I felt him pull me closer as I tried to escape from his grip. I sighed and tried to think of an idea.
I gave up and started to play with his hair. After a few minutes I felt him stir and saw his eyes flutter open. His eyes locked with mine as I saw his face turn a deep shade of red.
"uhm..." I heard him try to break the awkward silence. All of a sudden, someone barged into the room. "There you are guys! I spend the whole morning searching for you. You should hurry up. third phase is soon starting!" Gon said in his usual cheery voice.
"Also Killua, I need to talk to you." Gon spoke, sounding more serious.
I looked over to Killua, only to find him just as confused as me. He shrugged and went outside with Gon.
ᴛɪᴍᴇꜱᴋɪᴘ:
"Everyone, this is the hunter exam's third phase. You will be competing here on the top of the trick tower. In order to pass this phase, you must reach the base of the tower alive. The time limit is 72 hours. And with that, the exams third phase will now begin!"
ᴛɪᴍᴇꜱᴋɪᴘ:
I was standing next to Kurapika looking down the tower. "What now!? Are we supposed to climb down!?" Leorio shouted, holding his brief case tight.
"Well I hope not, that would be suicide" Kurapika said, not fazed by the height. 𝘞𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩 𝘮𝘦 𝘫𝘶𝘮𝘱 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 I joked to myself, still looking down.
A sinister chuckle sounded behind us. "Sure, for most people. For an expert rock climber like me, It's gonna be a piece of cake!" He spoke in a cocky tone, as he started climbing down the rocks.
"Look at how fast he's going!" Gon admired, watching him climb down. "I'm about to be the first one to pass the third phase!" He said, confidence lacing in his voice.
Nearly seconds later, you could hear aggressive gushes of wind. I looked around, trying to find the source of wind, only to see in the distance, weird looking ass mutant birds. I saw one of the birds, swallow the man and flying away.
"S-So we can't climb down...not like that at least" Leorio muttered, shaken up. "It looked fun!" I replied to him in a cheery voice.
I started looking around, trying to find a way down. I got on my knees and started feeling around, being completely obvious to the stares.
