Chapter 30

Jasmine's POV

"Hello mom" I said as my mom opened the door.Her eyes glowed and they showed so much happiness and joy.

"Jasmine!" She exclaimed hugging me tight.I dropped my bad and hugged her back.I miss this. I miss her.It feels like ages since I have been into my mothers arms.

"come in sweetie.Im so glad youre back" she said taking my bag from the floor and closinf the door.

I look around the house.This feels wierd and somehow not how I thought I would feel when i arived home.I sat on the couch and waited for my mom to come from the room.I know shes gonna want some answers and details about everything that has happened.It is Paris after all.But I cant answer anyone right now all I wanted to do was get some sleep.

My mon comes back and as expected starts bombarding me with questions.

"How's everything? What did you do? Did you enjoy it there? Have you met any cute guys?" She says sounding so excited.

"Yes it was fun and I had a great time"

I didn't meet cute guys I met one hot sweet and arrogant as hell vampire who I fell in love with but that was it.The doorbell rang and someone barged in.It was my best friend Caroline.Tears started forming in her eye when she was me.

"Youre here oh my god youre actually here.My mom saw you and i thought she was hallucinating but its you" She says rushing towards and me and hugging me so tight.I miss her as well.

I cant even imaginge how her life must be like. She knows me more than anyone else she must've known that this was a lie.Id never go to Paris and not tell her.Id never know that my brother was dead and not go to his funeral.She defnitly knew something was up.

"See i told you dear she's fine she was just visiting my sister"Mom says and Caroline looks at me suspiciously as she breaks away from the hug.I gave her my best fake smile but even mom knew it was fake

"Mrs.Court can you please leave us togather for a minute we have a lot of catching up to do you know" Caroline says giving my mom her fanous puppy dkg face.

"Sure but you girls are going to spill the beans to me after" she winks and leaves the room.

"Jas i miss you! Where the fuck have you been?! You know I thought you were dead or kidnapped.I was worried sick about you but somehow I was the only one who was freaking out." she says

Do i tell her? Well its no use keeping it a secret now.They're already caught and are not coming back.

"maybe because I was kidnapped?" i said in a joking tone trying to lighten up the mood

"What are you serious?"

"Yes"

"What happened! Are you okay? Should i call the police? Tell me everything!" She said already looking so worried and about a second away from calling the police.I dont know why I'm doing this but I am.

"Yea im fine.Look im going to tell you everything but you have to promise not to tell anyone"

"What no way! Of course im going to say simething you were freakin kidnapped!"

"No Care listen to me you cant tell anyone Im serious"

"Okay fine I wont I promise"She sighs and hugs me again."im hust so glad youre okay now"

And so I begin.I tell her everuthing from the start how I was kidnapped while walking to her house.I tell her about their place and that they were all mean at first.I explain my escape pland and how it succeded but then they found me and killed Zack.I tell her how I couldnt stand it and then I tell her about the compassion Harry showed me and how he took me to see my mother in the hospital.I talk about the day Niall and I watched a movie and the time Harry took me out on an actual date.I tell her about that god forsaken terribly amazing kiss and then finally about how the hunters took them and that i ran after that.
