Leo and Rose go on their honeymoon

Chapter 3
Leo said "honey do you mind if I feel your belly again, I just love feeling him, also where do you want to go on our honeymoon?" I said "yeah honey you can feel my belly again, I really haven't decided where I want to go on our honeymoon yet?" Leo put his hand on my belly and sure enough he had heard the little baby kick. After he took his hand off my belly he said again "honey, where do you want to go on our honeymoon, reason why I am asking is because so I can make the booking."

I thought and thought about where I wanted to go and I really hadn't thought on where I wanted to go. Leo was thinking on places himself I was only 7 months pregnant so I wasn't near my due date. Leo came up to me and said "Rose, how about we go to the Bahamas on our honeymoon?" I thought and I said "that's fine with me, are we going on a boat?" Leo said "yes honey is that okay?" I said "Yeah, that's fine with me, the only thing I am worried about is, will they let me up on the boat I am expecting with your son."

As soon as I said okay Leo did the booking for the ship, he asked if I could go on the boat and they said that it was okay and they leave day after tomorrow, they had to get to New York's pier in a day. I called Veronica and I told her that Leo and I were going to the Bahamas. Leo said "Okay, Rose we have officially booked for the Bahamas and the man that booked me said that you could come on the boat. We leave day after tomorrow, we need to be at New York's pier day after tomorrow." I said "Okay honey. We can start packing tonight if you want to?" Leo said 'that's fine honey, we can pack tonight if you want to."

The next morning came and I was happy because tomorrow I will be going to the Bahamas with my husband. I was still carrying Leo's baby, he was sleeping soundly inside of me. Sometimes I hear him kicking and Leo and I both felt him kick. We hadn't really decided on names yet because I was still 7 months pregnant. I got a call from Aaron and Veronica saying that they wanted to see me and Leo before we left in the morning, it's a good thing we lived in New York. So Leo and I decided that we would go over and have dinner with my son and his wife before we left in the morning.

We showed up at Aaron and Veronica's at 6pm Veronica answered the door and said "hello, Rose and Leo, I am guessing you are here for dinner with us, how many months are you now." I said "yes we are here for dinner, I am 7 months, next week I start my 8 month and I am happy that my pregnancy is almost over I can't wait to have him, I love being pregnant with him but I am ready to have him what are you having?" Veronica said "we are having Spaghetti and Meatballs and I have Aaron stirring the noodles, I was fixing the sauce when you knocked on the door."

We all sat down and enjoyed our dinner it was delicous, Aaron said "so Mom when are you and Leo going on your honeymoon?" I said "well, son Leo and I are going to the Bahamas on a cruise ship and we are leaving tomorrow." Veronica had brought in dessert and I ate every bite of it.

Leo and I got home after the delicious meal that Aaron and Veronica had prepared and we realized that we still needed to pack we leave in the morning and we still hadn't packed, the good thing about being married to someone is that he could help me pack. He was one fast packer after he got himself packed, then he helped me pack. Leo said "Rose, we have to be at New York's pier tomorrow morning at 7am."

After we got done packing Leo had said "Honey, do you want to go watch a movie or do you want to go to bed it is up to you?" I said " I really do not care honey, I could do either or." Leo and I went to bed, I woke up at 5:30am with cramps, I was thinking it was either the baby or my period. I went into the bathroom and it was only my period, I couldn't move an inch I was able to reach the phone and call 9-1-1 and an ambulance came to the house, Leo heard the sirens and he was able to ride in the ambulance with me and the man asked "How many months are you pregnant Mrs.?'' I said "I'm 8 months pregnant." We arrived at the hospital and I coughed and coughed until I threw up.

The doctor who was on call, came into the room and said "Mrs. DiCaprio, you are not in labor and you are not close to your due date why are you here?" I said "Doc, I don't know and I didn't mean to call the ambulance either. It was an accident." Leo said "Honey we need to go it's 6:15am and we need to go home and get our luggage so we could go to the Bahamas.'' The doctor said "Well, you are free to go Mrs. DiCaprio I will see you in a month." I said "Doc, are you about to get off because my husband and I rode in the ambulance we don't have a ride to get home." The doctor said "No I am not ready to get off, are you supposed to be somewhere?" Leo said "yes, it turns out that we are going to our honeymoon we are going to the Bahamas on a cruise and we need to get to New York's pier in half an hour." Leo said to me "could we call Aaron and Veronica and see if they could pick us up." The doctor said "Actually, don't tell anyone but I can take you home and come back and no time and no one will know that we are gone.''

Leo and I got back to the house and we grabbed our luggage and we did make it to the pier on time we boarded and we were able to find our room in no time, the boat left the dock and we were safely on our way to the Bahamas. I realized that all the other passengers that were on the boat were also going to the Bahamas. We walked around the boat deck because we were still newlyweds and we were enjoying our time.
