Game Over (Mastermind!Chiaki Au)

Prologue: Before the Pods

There was one last thing Izuru had to do before he let himself and the other remnants be trapped in the pods on Jabberwock Island, set to come out when each of them had been reformed by the 'hope' that the ones who trapped them treasured so much. He had to make sure the remnants had an inkling of hope in their grasp before it was ripped away and turned into unimaginable despair. One last thing. A voice in his head was pleading with him. "Please, Izuru," it said, "Please for once just listen. Please don't do this. You saw her as she died and you cried, didn't you? Don't do this to yourself, or more, don't do this to me!" Izuru ignored the pesky voice just as he always did.

He had asked the Future Foundation to leave him alone for a minute to collect his thoughts before he was returned to the former and hopeless form of 'Hajime Hinata' in the virtual world. What they didn't know was that he was sneaking something in that would make their plan crumble right before their eyes.

He scanned through the Neo-World Program's files. He had two chips with Junko's AI in it, one from Shirokuma and one from Kurokuma, each equally enough of Junko to cause despair to anyone who had it programmed into their brain. The first file 'Monokuma.npc' would upload a Monokuma into the program. The second one 'Mastermind.moderator' would be used to turn one of the moderators into the Mastermind of the killing game Izuru planned to give the remnants as much Despair as possible.

He clicked on the file 'Chiaki_Nanami.moderator' he uploaded the Mastermind file into Chiaki Nanami's AI. The voice was pleading for him to stop, but it was too late. Chiaki would now be the mastermind of the killing game meant to give the remnants the most despair possible. Izuru was satisfied with himself, saving his work and hiding any evidence he had done anything to the program.

And so his plan continued. He was trapped in the pods, just like the other remnants, and the game was about to begin.
