Sweet-and-sour Love

Accident

As the kiss grew more intense Xiao Zhan suddenly felt an extreme pain in his head. Some faded memories flashing in front of his eyes. He broke the kiss and hold his head between his palms.

"Zhan ge, are you ok?" Yibo asked worriedly.

"No...No...my head is paining so much....I....I am seeing....things....help mme....." Zhan said as he fainted in Yibo's arms.

Yibo quickly took him to the hospital and informed both of their parents. 

Zhan's parents went to the doctor and talked to him privately. Yibo was sure that there is something related to Zhan's sudden headache that Yibo is unaware of. He was curious to know about Zhan's condition. So, he asked Zhan's parents  to tell them the actual matter. They were hesitating at first but eventually they gave up because it was Yibo who was going to spend the rest of his life with Zhan but not them.

Zhan's mother asked, "Yibo you remembered the accident happened on his graduation day?"  

Of course Yibo remembered it very well. How can he forget that because he was present there at that time and witnessed the whole accident.

*FLASHBACK*

After the confession....... 

"Why aren't you picking up Zhan ge? Where the hell are you?" Yibo was muttering to himself frustratingly as he was dialling Zhan's number constantly for the past two hours.  

He was feeling guilty because if it wasn't for his confession Zhan would have been fine and they would probably celebrate his graduation. But he ruined it all. He frustratingly ran his finger through his hair and laid on his bed. 

He didn't know when he fell asleep. He was woken up by a call on his phone and to his surprise it was Zhan. 

He quickly picked up the call but only to hear Zhan's  pleadings. 

"Yibo...help...help...me...they will kill me.....help me..." Zhan said. It was obvious that he was afraid and his voice was shaking.

"What are you saying Zhan ge? Who will kill you? Where are you now?" Yibo asked worriedly.

"I am near xx cafe...help me....they.... they are after me..." Zhan broke down.

"Zhan ge...Zahn ge calm down ok...I am coming....Just till then find a place with many people around, will you Zhan ge?"

"Mnn."

"Ok I am coming....hang in there...don't cut the call."

Yibo ran out of his dorm and went to find Zhan.

Wen he was in front of xx cafe he saw Zhan was standing on the other hand of the road. Yibo waved his hand towards Zhan. Zhan smiled widey as he saw him. But suddenly....

Someone stabbed him with a knife and then pushed him forward. He was about to fall forward when a running car with full speed bump into him causing him to fly in the air a little and then fall on the ground hard.

Yibo was stunned seeing this in the short of a moment. Yibo ran towards Zhan and saw him drenched with a heavy pool of blood. A crowd formed around them. 

Yibo was begging someone to call the ambulance. When the ambulance arrived they arrived towards the hospital. The doctor said that he was in critical condition. They were not sure if they could save hi or not. Yibo was shaken all over. He wasn't expecting this..........

*FLASHBACK ENDS* 

"Yibo...Yibo are you listening?" Zhan's mother shook the pacing out Yibo.

"Oh...ah...yeah...tell me..." Yibo said as he snapped out from his thoughts. 

"So then he went to coma for almost six months and when he woke up we were in the US and he totally forget all his memories about of his days in the college unfortunately. So he can't remember you of course. Then he returned back to China as we can't give him time and his grandma needs someone as she was alone. But he would get headaches often and had nightmares about that accident but he couldn't remember it although. So then we met Dr. Xue Yang, son of a friendof ZhanZhan's father. He gave him propranolol to forget about the bad traumatic nightmares. It was in control even when he saw you but why suddenly it triggered this much?" Zhan's mother said and frowned.

(Propranolol is a kind of drug used along with therapy to dampen memories of trauma victims.)

Yibo was totally shocked hearing all these. He was totally unaware of all these things. His heart ached so much. He clenched his fists in anger as the persons figure wearing a black hoodie who stabbed Zhan with the knife and the car flashed in his eyes. He wished he could find that person but he can't because he have no clue to start the investigation at all. Also it had been many years after all.

He was again lost in his own world when the nurse came and said that Zhan has regained his consciousness. Yibo almost ran towards his room. He opened the door and sighed in relief when he saw Zhan sitting on the bed head hanged down.

"Zhan ge are you ok?"  Yibo asked with a soft voice.

Zhan looked  at him with tears glistering in his eyes.

"Zhan ge?" Yibo looked at him questioningly. 

Zhann parted his mouth to say something but Yibo couldn't hear it because his voice was low and it was faded away with Zhan's sniffing.

Yibo walked towards him and said, "Zhan ge I couldn't hear you, tell me again."

Then what Zhan told Yibo left him in total shock. He honestly wasn't expecting to hear that from Zhan.

THE ACTUAL REASON IS I  CAN'T THINK OF WHAT TO WRITE NEXT......
