That Day

(ZHAN'S POV)

I said and about to walk away when she said, "Please don't confess to Yibo."

I was stunned listening to her.

"What? Wha-what do you mean?" I asked.

"Zhan ge you know very well that I love him. I love him a lot and you know what I like you also because you are a kind person. I don't want you at least to be my love rival. I respect you so much because you are my senior. So please back off or you might never imagine what will happen to you. Zhan ge don't do anything stupid that would make you and your Yibo's miserable."

"Is that some kind of warning?" I asked.

"Yes or maybe you can consider it as a threat also. You know very well that what I am capable of. So Zhan ge stay away." 

She said and left. She won't do anything bad to Yibo right? I was so tensed about that matter the whole day. Then finally I came to a conclusion that 'I won't confess to Yibo. I can't put him in danger.'

The graduation ceremony finished and I was busy taking picture with my family when Yibo came and told me that he wants to talk to me.

And he confess to me. I was dumbstruck. I was happy that even Yibo like me back. I was about to say that yes I also like him but I remember Lu Enjie's words. I shivered. I don't want to put both of ourselves in danger because I am the only son of my family and I can't lose Yibo. Even if he is not mine but seeing him alive is what matter to me most. 

I broke his heart. I rejected him. But what I didn't know that there was something harsh waiting for me.

I told my parents that I will spend sometime with my friends then I will go home to have dinner with them. So they leave first. I was talking to my friends when a girl came and said that someone Yibo was waiting for me at the field. 

I was a bit hesitant to go but when she said that it was urgent I had to go. When I reached the ground there was no one. I called him but there was no answer. 

I frowned and turned to go back when suddenly someone kicked me from behind. I fell down and hit hard on my chest. 

I looked over and saw that four well build men were standing glaring at me. I gulped hard and asked, "What do you want from me? Do you want money? I have money, take it."

They didn't answer. 

Suddenly one of their mobile ringed. The man picked up.

He said, "Yes we caught him."

So it was planned. Is it Yibo? But why would he do this? 

One time I heard the man mentioning the person on the phone as 'mam' the I was sure that it was Lu Enjie. She is the one behind all this. Anger rose to my head and I turned and run as fast as possible though my chest and back was aching.

I looked at my phone and oh god...Yibo called me many time. I quickly dialed his number and asked for help.

I was standing in the road with more crowd. And when I saw Yibo I feel relieved. I was happy seeing him fine. 

But...

"Urgh..." I arched my back backward as I felt an immense pain on my back. I was being stabbed. My visions became blur and I could see Yibo calling my name. He was about to step on the road for crossing when I suddenly pushed forward and I stumbled because I had no control over my body. I didn't even got the time to stand properly when a car came and stuck me.

After that everything went black.

'Yibo....Yibo....'

He was the last I could think of.
