"What? I-im invisible?" I ask my hands trembling.
"Yes and everyone around you is completely oblivious to the fact that you are there. In fact you could slap them round the face and they wouldn't notice" she says flatly. "I'm coco by the way"
"Well I'm Gemmma, its nice to meet you!" I smile sweetly at her.
"It's nice to meet you to" she smiles. Just then a cold wind kicks up and she shivers
"Let's go inside" I say and start fumbling around for my key.
"You don't need a key." She giggles. "Why? The doos locked" I say dumping the keys back in my pocket.
"Watch this." She smiles.
She takes a few steps back and stares at the door. She takes a deep breath and runs at the door. I look at her, is she mad? She's going to really hurt herself. I can't look. I turn my head towards the road and watch as a car passes by, bracing myself for the sound of her smashing into he door but the sound doesn't come. I slowly turn to face the door to see she had vanished. worry flood's though me.
"Coco!!" I yell terrified something had happed to her."Coco?" I call again running towards the door. I frantically look around for any clue if where she might have gone when I hear a snickering coming from the other side of the door. I lift my head and breath a sigh of relief. She's just hiding behind the door. Wait a minute! How did she get on the other side if the door?!
"Ha ha very funny.." I sigh sarcastically "now how did you get there?"
"You just run at it." She says from behind the door
"But.." I start to say
"Just trust me"
I nod forgetting that she can't see it and walk over to the end of the path where she was standing. I put all my concentration into stareing at the door and sprint as fast as I can. When I get closer to the door I brace myself and speed up. I am terrified this is not going to work. What if I just run into the door at full speed and break something? I focus on the door and try to block out any thought of it going horribly wrong, I close my eyes and ready myself. I have a strange sensation like I'm being pushed forwards and I find myself on the other side of the door with Coco laughing her head off.
"What's so funny?" I ask crossly
"It's jus- its just you looked like you where about to get crushed by some huge monster or something" she splutters.
"Well you try being told to run at a door at full speed by some one you only just met" I say before collapsing into giggles. She looks up at me and I suddenly realize how pretty she is. Her chocolate brown hair falls around her face and her also chocolate brown eyes light up with laughter, she's got pale pink lipgloss on and her mouth is widened into a smile. She's wearing a navy top with cute little white bows on it complimented with a gray cardigan and red scarf, her shorts match perfectly with her red converse and black knee-high socks. She's absolutely stunning compered to me with my brown hair hastily tied into a messy bun in a vain attempt to hide to grease because I didn't have enough time to wash it last night with my drab school uniform and minimalist makeup.
"Do you want to go up to my room?" I ask mainly so I can change out of my school uniform and into something decent.
"Sure" she smiles and I lead her up to my bedroom.
"Here we are!" I say opening the door to the kingdom of mess that I call my bedroom. I look around at the Array of clothes draped on my bed and scatted in various places around my bedroom floor.
"So, how do you know where I live?" I ask her. She looks at me shocked.
"Oh yeah, I forgot.." She trails off sadly.
"What did you forget?" I ask curious now.
"Well, I'm your cousin"
