Chapter 5

"Annyeonghaseyo" I bowed to Mr. Park

Mr. Park is CEO of the company where ny Father works and He owns my previous school too. That's how he know me, he admire me alot throughout all my entire childhood because I was top student and every year during ceremonies I walked up to stage to receive medal from him, he was quite impressed. He was the one-

"But your son annoys me alot" I said while chewing tteokbokki and stabs the tteokbokki hard on plate with chopsticks and he laughs.

No matter how much I complain about Jimin to Mr. Park, he just laugh it off. I never saw him angry or something. Jimin lucky to have Father like him.

"Don't worry I know someone like you can handle my son well"

"You always have high expectations for me" I scoffed irritatedly.

We are sitting in his office eating street food informally without any care of etiquette or rules.

"Because I know you so well" He said clearly enjoying this all.

"You don't know about me yet and your son is in danger besides even Mirae is also tired of him"

"It seems like you are the one who does not know them, they get along with eachother, they know each other's secrets and basically are partner in crime"

My jaw dropped at Mr. Park words. Partner in crime? But I never saw Mirae taking Jimin side in any bad thing but I admit I kinda feel betrayed but i can't complain, they are siblings they are obviously more important to eachother than outsiders.

My dream was to enroll in this prestigious university but only rich people could afford it. Mr. Park encouraged me to apply for scholarship and I did.... I got selected in this university and my dream come true, I literally cried all night and I was feeling very grateful to Mr. Park.

But I was afraid that everyone here will accept me or not? What if I got bully? because I belong to normal family

On my first day no one talked to me I was invisible until Jimin starts bullying me around and Mirae become my one and only friend.

Its weird my bully's sister is my best friend but more weirder is that his entire family loves me except for him because they knew me for quite long time because of Mr. Park and he always wanted me to become friends with Mirae and Jimin and his wish partially came true when I finally meet them. But I wonder why Jimin hates me so much.

"I have decided when you will graduate, I will hire you in my company"

I almost choked on my food, getting hired in my company means working under Mr. Park but that's not the problem. The problem is when Mr. Park will resign, then sole heir of company Park Jimin will take over and I can't imagine my life working under him! There no way.

"No!" I said quickly as he laughs more.

Mirae POV

I was decending down the stairs carrying big black bag with me which contain our clothes for dance practice. Jimin comes in my way and I was about to ask him if he is ready but he spoke first.

"What happened?" He asked interested and curious.

I send Jimin confused look, his words sinking in but not making any sense. He blink few times seeing I am confused but instead of being impatient he bring his hand up to rub nape of his neck which was unusual.

I walked past him and he follows me silently, when I reach door of entrance I realize the hidden message behind his words.

I shrugged my shroulders before giving him quick glance "Nothing much, I just helped her out." I said while opening the door.
