Ong And Nika

Disappointment

"Nika?" he asked and continue , "Can i have words with Tina, she is avoiding my calls since 3 days, Its really urgent." 

"Hmm..Mr. Ong i'm her manager, you can discuss your concerns with me" i said in a confident tone but with a guilt in my heart, i was quite aware of what is gonna happen next, now he will talk about how unprofessional we are, this and that and talk about legal formalities and terminating the contract etc etc.  but its gonna hard to discuss as we are in fault this time. 

"Oh! miss Nika but i guess i should discuss this with Tina as she knows what is it about" he insists.

"Mr. Ong I'm well aware of the situation, Tina told me everything, On behalf of her i do apologies for her wrongdoings and we will offer what we can do from our side." I tried to convince him.

"Miss Nika you don't have to apologies on behalf of another's wrongdoing, Miss Tina should face the consequences of her wrongdoing also if you are well aware of the situation then you tell me what should i do in my concert?"  he asked with an annoyed tone.  

I don't know what should i say as i can understand his frustration and i'm here standing in middle of the office, Tina looking at me with tensed face which makes me more helpless. After a small pause i continued
"Mr. Ong as your management company we are truly sorry for not serving you well and for this irresponsible behaviour. I do apologies on behalf of our company, i know we can't solve this with our apology but i hope you can feel our sincerity and as for the concert, i do promise we will do whatever it takes to help you, we still have tomorrow's time. Please do consider our apology."

There was a silence on another side, i'm not sure what is he thinking right now but this silence is making me more anxious and I continued, "Also Tina will take the responsibility for her wrongdoing and apologies to you personally. "

Tine looked at me with surprise as if i asked her to share her property..
but he is still silent, making me nervous so i asked if he is still there. 
"Hello mr. Ong? are you there?"
"Mr. Ong?" 

"Miss Tine" he continued after a pause "i'm already too disappointed with you guys, i don't know what should i do.. My fans will wait for me." he said with a his low voice and disconnect the call.
 After hearing his last words my heart was aching, i can feel the disappointment and helplessness in his voice. I felt bad for him.
As a management company we have responsibility of an artist, they trust us with their work but we were not able to serve them well. I felt like i was the one who was not able to perform my duty. I was in middle of my thoughts when Tina shakes me asked what happened. 

"I don't know" i replied, still in my thoughts.
What did he said? she asked again 
"Nothing!" i said
"Tine you need to apologies to him, call him after an hour and ask for an apology, i don't know if he will continue with us or not but its time for you to take the responsibility. I'm going to my office "  I left after giving her mobile.

I was feeling bad for Tina and for that Ong as well, thinking about his last words still giving me chills.
"anyways i still have a lot of work to do and his voice was really delicate i said unconsciously while smirking"  i sit on my table and start working untill i realised its lunch time. 
"i'm craving for cold coffee but i don't want to go outside" i said to myself while palming my face.
"life is really hard, i want to go home"

I hear the knock on my door.
"come in" i said
"Mam i called him" Tina comes in after closing the door
"who" i asked her 
"Ong" she replied, i asked if she apologised to him.
"yes, i asked for an apology"
"then what he said" I asked with concern 

"He wants to talk to you"
