POV Five

"Aren't we there soon?"Yelped y / N as she slowly climbed the last distance of the hill. Iwas already uon the top and smiled when I saw what I wanted to showher. I looked back at her and held out a hand to pull her up into myarms with a jerk.

Y / N looked at me in surprise while I hadan arm wrapped around her waist to hold her better. The tips of ournoses were almost touching and you could feel the other's breath onyour own lip. She had opened her mouth slightly and put a hand on myshoulder.

I knew what she expected. The half-closed y / eceyes looked willingly at me. But instead of kissing her, I turnedaway and let go of her to venture a few steps further.
"Y /N. Look. ", I called and waved her over to me without taking myeyes off the front of me.
It stretched a kilometer-long craterthat has meanwhile been reclaimed by nature. A small river came downfrom another ridge into the valley, forming a waterfall that ended ina lake.

"Five. That's ... breathtaking. "I heardfrom her and smiled. The sun had reached the zenith of setting. Soonit would color the sky and the landscape a soft golden red tone. "Itwas the first place I saw that fascinated me. Who touched me insideand gave me comfort and hope. ", I started and you could see acertain calm in my facial features. "No matter how the world ends,it will find a way back. That comforted me. Hope comes from thebeauty between all the rubble. "I explained myself and sighed."Unbelievable," I whispered, turning my head, then to her.Her enchanting smile gave me a warmth I had never seen before. Theglow of the eyes shone brighter than the sun, the red of which wasnow slowly emerging on everything.

Reluctantly, I knelt nextto her and took one hand in mine. I cleared my throat.
"Y /N. There was a moment when I felt the same way. When I first saw youeven though I didn't know that I would ever feel something like that." I started and inhaled. Her gaze met mine and it was like I forgoteverything I wanted to say.
Especially since I wasn't good atsocial moments anyway. I dug out a ring from my pocket that I hadfound one day on a destroyed jeweler. His diamond beamed at me as ifhe had been chosen for this one moment. All around him the individualsparkling stones like a wreath of stars. "Would you...? I mean... ", I stumbled over the words and looked at the floor, as shewas now looking at me more surprised than I would have expected.
