Another Ending - Five x Vanya-COMPLETE

Chapter 17

Alexander looked up at Vanya "Why should I tell you? Why would I give up my powers to help you?"

"Cause you won't be able to use them anyway plus if you cooperate now, maybe a lesser sentence"

This made Alexander think. "Okay fine. For a lesser sentence and more comfort in my jail cell I'll tell you. But are you sure? It looks like he doesn't want you to do anything" Alexander said gesturing to Five who was still pounding on the shield.

"I'm doing this for him. Now tell me." Vanya said.

"Very well. Now all you have to do is focus your powers on me. Feel the other six's power surging through me and focus in putting those powers back in their original hosts" Alexander said. Vanya nodded and closed her eyes, but before looking back at Five. She mouthed 'I love you' to him as he stared at her.

Vanya then turned back to Alexander and focused all her powers on him. 6 magical white streams came surging out of Alexanders body and made their way through the shield to the rest of the Umbrella Academy.

Each stream made their way to each person and collided itself into the new host. Vanya's eyes opened and glowed white she lifted her arms and the streams glowed even whiter.

Power surged through each of the Umbrella Academy bodies, they felt more powerful than before.

After a few minutes the lights died down and shield fell. The team tested out their powers and sure enough it worked. Five teleported from one side of the room to the other and clenched his fists, happy to have his powers back.

He then looked back to where Vanya used to be standing. "Vanya?" Five yelled. He found an unconscious Vanya and tired Alexander.

"Now I want to discuss my sentence..." Alexander started.

"Guys, take him away" Five said grabbing Vanya arms and carrying her bridal style.

"What about my sentence?!" Alexander yelled while being dragged away by the rest of the academy.

Five placed Vanya down in the medical bay followed by Grace and Reginald.

"What's wrong with her?" Five asked, still holding Vanya's hand.

"Her vitals are failing, we need to bring her back. Grace, grab the defibrillator" Reginald said.

Grace grabbed the machine and started up and tried started Vanya's heartbeat.

"It's not working!" Five yelled.

"Number 5, try giving her CPR" Reginald instructed.

Five grabbed Vanya's face and gave her mouth to mouth, then pressed on here chest.

After a harrowing five minutes (A/N heh get it? Yeah this is an emotional moment, not thee time for jokes) Vanya's chest began rising and falling.

Five took a deep breath of relief. Then kissed Vanya's forehead. Her eyes soon after fluttered open.

"Vanya honey! Oh thank god you're awake" Grace said stroking her daughters head.

"Van! You had me worried! Don't do that to me ever again! I thought I lost you" Five said bringing Vanya into an embrace.

"What happened?" She asked.

"You passed out, but you gave our powers back from Alexander. Please never do that again, I value you way more than any power" Five said.

"What else?" Vanya asked.

"You were dead on the table for a couple minutes and those couple minutes were the worst of my life"Five said.

Just then the rest of the team walked in to the med bay. "Vanya! You're okay!" Alison yelled and ran over to hug her sister.

"We were so worried about you!" Ben said, hugging Vanya after Alison.

"OK ENOUGH!" Vanya yelled, which was very out of character for Vanya.

"Vanya? What's wrong?" Five asked.

"First of all, why do you keep calling me Vanya? Wait...who am I? Who are you guys?" Vanya said. "I don't know who I am" Vanya said hyperventilating.

"Sweetie, just rest for now, and all will be clearer when you wake up" Grace said, secretly injecting Vanya with a serum that put her in a deep sleep. Vanya's eyes closed, the last thing seeing Five's face.

"Okay, everyone out" Grace instructed, pushing everyone out of the room and closing the door.

"What happened to her?" Luther asked.

Five had the look of horror across his face when he realized what happened.

"Remember what Alexander said? There was a chance that she'd be giving something up permanently to give us our powers. She gave up her memory."
