Becoming friends

You had managed to buy a small house near the Li residence, and move all the necessary things inside. As you where walking about the town, needing to buy food to fill your kitchen, you rounded the corner and bumped into a chest.

"Ah! I'm sorry, I didn't see you there." You said, glancing up.

"It's you."

"Huh?" You said, confused. looking up again, you realized you bumped into Nezha. "Oh! Hello Nezha. What are you doing here?"

Nezha stared at you for a moment, before glancing away. "I was just.... going for a walk." He mumbled. You stayed silent for a moment, watching as he shifted his weight from foot to foot.

"You where coming to terrorize the village again, weren't you." You spoke, crossing your arms and staring up at him. Nezha grumbled something, rubbing the back of his neck. "I can't hear you, Nezha."

"I said it's the only fun I ever get around here." He growled out. You giggled and grabbed his hand, beginning to walk back to the Li residence.

"Well then, let's change that." You said, smiling back at him.

"What do you mean?" He asked, tilting his head and walking with you.

"Do you like Jianzi?"

You had dragged Nezha up to the Li residence and to a small field within. The guardian beasts where surprised to find you dragging Nezha along, but was grateful you brought him back before they got in trouble.

In the field, you had started playing Jianzi with him. Nezha was a little hesitant when you first started, considering his strength. But when he kicked the shuttlecock at you, you shot it up into the air and bounced it on your forehead, before kicking it a bit and than sending it back easily. Nezha was so surprised that he almost missed catching the shuttlecock.

"Why so surprised, Nezha? First time playing?" You taunted, giggling again. Nezha pointed to a nearby wall, it had cracks and large holes in it.

"Because that's what normally happens when I play Jianzi."

"You must have a strong kick." You spoke thoughtfully, bouncing the shuttlecock on your knee. "Then again, It doesn't seem like it to me." You grinned, Kicking it at Nezha.

Nezha smirked, catching the shuttlecock and bouncing it a bit before sending it back. This continued on, just the two of you playing Jianzi.

Behind a tree a little ways off, Lady Yin and Master Taiyi hid watching as the two of you played. When the guardian beasts had said that Nezha had been brought back by his friend, Lady Yin was ecstatic, but Taiyi thought Nezha had kidnapped someone. Looking at the scene before him though, he couldn't help but share in Lady Yin's excitement.

"My baby boy's making friend's!" Lady Yin squealed excitedly.

"She's a pretty one too." Taiyi spoke, grinning from ear to ear. Lady Yin had too agree.

After a little while, you had gotten tired out. so You and Nezha just sat down and talked. There was no real topic, just talking about each other and the most random of things.

"Hey, Can I ask something I think might be personal?" You asked, scratching your cheek nervously.

"Um, I guess?" Nezha said, unsure.

"You don't need to answer, but...... why is everyone so scared of you?"

"well.." Nezha mumbled, "I'm kinda like, a demon? I was born with the demon pill, so I kinda got all the 'demony stuff' that went along with it, including the fire powers. The village is just scared of me because of it. They think I'm, like, the embodiment of evil, or, something." He shrugged his shoulders, glancing at you nervously.

"Huh, Is that why your so hot?" You asked cheekily.

Nezha's face went bright red, and you fell back laughing at his reaction. You where not expecting that. He glared at you, but started to laugh a bit as well. 'This is nice' He thought, tackling you as you began yelling 'Nezha's a hotty!'

He didn't really mind, though.
