"You want to what?" Lady Yin asked incredulous, General Li looking just as surprised, as you kneeled before them.
"I'd like to accompany you both and your son to this peace treaty." You repeated, head down. "I don't know if Nezha has told you yet, but he is worried something will go wrong at the treaty. So, I wish to come as your protector under the pretense of keeping Nezha in check." You finished, raising to your feet and bringing a fist up to rest over your heart, the other going behind your back.
"Nezha has not expressed this problem to us. How did you get this information?" General Li asked.
"Your spitfire was destroying a wall by my tree, so I broke through the barrier and got him talking before he fell asleep." You deadpanned.
"Ah, that explains the destruction." Lady Yin mumbled.
"You broke through the barrier?" General Li questioned, and you shrugged your shoulders.
"To be fair, I was a little worried for the sake of the palace." Sighing, General Li pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Yes, and while I thank you for that, if Nezha finds out how to get past the barrier, were all doomed." He said.
"Spitfire had no idea how I got in. That's not why I'm here though. Nezha brought up a valid point on why things could go wrong, so please, allow me to come." You pushed, and Lady Yin stepped forward.
"What was this 'Valid point'?" She questioned.
"Nezha told me that you got a personal request from the leader of this country to have every member of the Li residence come to the peace treaty, however, everybody is scared of Nezha, and he refuses to believe that anyone would want him near their entire family." You explained, and Lady Yin had a thoughtful look on her face.
"You're right, that doesn't make much sense, but it would make even less sense as to why we would have a guard there." She said, looking a little stumped.
"If we were to bring a guard as protection, they may take that as a sign that we don't trust them. And even if we were to say it was for the journey over, they would most likely just keep you outside, so you would not be able to protect any of us. Or Nezha, for that matter." General Li said, eyes narrowed in thought.
"That's why I'm offering to go under the pretense of keeping Nezha in check. He is the demon pill and that scares people, besides, they should know who I am, and if I'm to be watching Nezha, I'll have to be with him every moment." You spoke.
"Yes... Nezha will most likely come to us with this same problem on a later date. You will be joining us under the pretense that your keeping the demon pill in check, and protect my son at all costs." Lady Yin said.
"Also, please do actually keep him in check." General Li added. You let out a small chuckle.
"Of course. Thank you, Lady Yin, General Li." You bowed before turning and walking out.

Later that night, you walked to your favorite tree once again. You were wearing the same clothes you had on the first night you met Nezha, and still refused to wear a shirt.
