He goes crazy

You hadn't thought much of it, to be fair. The guy had just cat called you, and then insulted you when you ignored him.

Sure, he started to follow you and grabbed a hold of your arm, but you kicked him onto his ass, and just ignored him in general.

So when Nezha mumbled a few words under his breath, looking pissed, and then burst into flames, you had jumped in surprise. Master Taiyi, who had just turned the corner, had shrieked when he spotted Nezha floating in the air, eyes white.

The man, of course, began screaming and crying when it seemed to crash down upon him just who he had tried hitting on and then insulted. You spotted the Universe ring on the ground as Lady Yin, General Li, and Master Taiyi all yelled at you to move.

You ignored them and picked up the hoop, throwing it at Master Taiyi, before rushing towards the man on the ground as Nezha began to fly towards him, fire tipped spear up.

You stopped in front of the man and raised your arms, protecting him.

"NEZHA!"

Nezha stopped, spear digging into the ground as to avoid hitting you, and looked up at you angrily. Fire surrounded you, the man, and Nezha in a circle, and you took a step forward as Nezha growled. You stared into his white eyes, and reached up to cup his face in your hands.

Nezha went silent, the angry and wild look in his eyes changing into that of a soft surprised one.

"Hello," You started, "You aren't quite my Nezha, huh." You mumbled, and he let go of the spear, slowly standing to full height, and just stared at you in wonder.

"You're the demon pill side of him." You said, and slowly, he nodded, "You want to hurt this man because of something he did to me, but i'm fine. I'll probably never see him again anyways, so please, calm down."

Nezha stared at you, before slowly, almost hesitantly, wrapping his arms around you and bringing you into a hug, shoving his face in the crook of your neck.

This side of Nezha loved you just as much as normal Nezha did, he could never hurt you. He was just scared you'd be afraid of him. But here you were, cradling him in your arms and letting him hold you so close.

"My.......... Mate........." You heard him mumble, before you felt a small pain in your neck. You squeaked in surprise, and saw that Master Taiyi had activated the Universe ring.

Nezha made no move to escape, however, and simply pulled back and looked at you. You reached a hand up and cupped his face again.

"My mate." You mumbled, and Nezha leaned down, kissing you as the Universe Ring secured itself around his wrist.

Opening his eyes a moment later, reviling his red irises, Nezha pulled back slowly, the fire around you both slowly dissolving, and a blush appeared on Nezha's face as his eyes were directed towards your neck.

"Uhmm......... Sorry about that." He said, and you reached a hand up to cup the place Nezha bit you.

"It's fine. And as for you," You started, turning to the man who looked absolutely terrified, "Never cat call someone and then threaten them. Or do either on their own, kay'?" You finished, and the man nodded, scrambling off.

"Nezha! We need to have a serious talk." General Li said sternly, and Nezha's grip around you tightened.

"Go easy on him, General Li. Nezha was just mad and let the anger get to him." You spoke softly, and Nezha smiled at you.

"Fine. But were still having a talk." General Li agreed, and Nezha sighed. You placed a hand on his chest, leaning up and kissing his cheek, nodding at him. Nezha smiled and pulled his fire tipped spear from the ground, following his father and mother away.

"Are you hurt?" Master Taiyi asked, and you chuckled.

"No, Master Taiyi, I'm alright. Although, Nezha did bite me for some reason." You recalled, touching your neck again. Master Taiyi walked over and moved your hand out of the way, wanting to look at the wound, but froze up.

"Is something wrong?" You asked worriedly.

"The demon pill just chose you as it's mate for life." Taiyi said breathlessly, and you blinked in surprise.

"......Huh?" You said.

In place where Nezha had bit you now stood two black dots were his canines would've pierced your skin.

"These dots are a mating mark. The demon pill literally just marked you as his." Taiyi said, shock filling his voice.

A small smile settled on your face.

'I like the sound of that. For life.' You thought, and waved Taiyi off.

"I'm fine, master Taiyi!"

Taiyi watched as you walked off, it finally setting in that the demon pill chose a mate.

And that it's mate chose it back.
