Pssstt here's some popcorn for you all—-> 🍿 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿Before you get into this (I've already written the rest of this before typing this part) I just wanna say how much of a SLAVE to my keyboard I've been this week😂 Literally writing everyday, and those chapters aren't short. They're like 6000-8000 words a chapter!!
The finale was 8026 words 😅😅
ANYWAY LETS BEGIN
First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone who read Made in Japan! Especially UniCarat and JulianneZamora ! Who never failed to read every single chapter the day I posted it! It means a lot to me knowing that you guys liked my book enough to not waste any time and immediately read it! 🤧🤧
Also! I would like to thank every one who profread Made in Japan behind the scenes! (Even though sometimes they would forget they were editing it and just read the chapter 😂) So thank you to Smiling_Seavey2005 , and my friends Hayley and Cherlyssa! I couldn't have done it without you guys!
To me this book is forever special in my heart! I didn't realize HOW attached I was to this book until now. The book is done with and now I'm kind of empty. Since April 2020 to September 2020 I've been writing Made in Japan (even though I took like a 2-3 week break in between hehe). So I think I have a good reason to be attached to this book, but I didn't know that ending it would make me sad to the point where I cried last night....
BUT YOU AREN'T HERE FOR TEARS YOU'RE HERE TO SEE WHAT COULD'VE HAPPENED IN THE STORY.
A pre-warning, I'm writing this minutes before I'm going to post it, and I might go off on a tangent or two, but I like to think of this chapter as me sitting down with my readers and talking about how differently things could have went.
Let's start off with how the story was SUPPOSED to go.
The main plot was supposed to be Yuto being bipolar and having mental issues due to being apart of the mafia. The issues were going how he acted toward Y/n, and she was going to slowly teach him how normal relationships are supposed to go.
Slowly and slowly Yuto would reveal himself more to Y/n, and she would find out he was in the mafia. Instantly when she found out that information she would have joined the mafia to protect Yuto, and make sure nothing goes wrong.
And from there they would've been a Bonnie and Clyde type of couple, shooting up anyone they could for cash(not just the bad guys).
BUT, I as I kept writing more and more chapters, I realized that this ending was nearly impossible for me to do. Yuto did indeed have issues he needed to work out, but he wasn't completely bipolar, he just had issues.
Y/n was also still very....prissy? Like she was very girly and not a 100% complete bad-ass. Plus as I kept writing the story more ideas on how to end it kept creeping up into my head.
But before we talk about the endings I was going to write, lets talk about the stuff that was and wasn't supposed to happen in the book
Let's start off with something major shall we?
Hyunggu was not supposed to die.
I didn't really want to kill him off. Initially, he was going to come to Japan and show Y/n around his company. She was going to talk to Hui about it and everyone was going to have dinner at Mrs. Ito's, including Yuto and the seok brothers.
From there Yuto and Hyunggu were going to get into this huge fight (like what actually happened) and Y/n was going to be the one to stop them. Yuto would tell her to never hang out with Hyunggu ever again, causing tension between Y/n and Yuto.
