chapter 35, tense

I woke up the next morning feeling uneasy. I felt throw up, coming up, and immediately ran to the bathroom. and it came out, it was so gross. alessio sleepily walked over the door frame of the bathroom. "baby what's wrong." he said tiredly. he's been staying up pretty late working on music, so I told him I was fine, and after a little while of convincing he finally listened. he crawled back into my bed. after I threw up all that was left in my stomach. I was pretty worn out, so I took some medicine and tried to fall back asleep. but I couldn't my stomach hurt to bad. I went to find kenzie to see if she knew what was wrong with me, she's pretty smart so I figured i'd ask her. "hey kenz, I need your special opinion." I asked her. "hi y/n, what's wrong?" she said to me, touching the dark circles under my eyes. "I don't feel good. I've been throwing up all morning, and I can't eat anything. i already took some medicine but it cleary didn't help. and i really want to try bacon and peanut butter." I ranted to her. "uh y/n...." kenzie said with a worried look on her face. i quickly realized what some of my feelings could result in. "oh fuck" i said palming my forehead. "you and z use protection, right?" she said in a serious tone. "yeah of course" i told her. "are you on the pill?" she said, questioning me again. "no i don't like the way it makes me feel. "okay... well when was your last period." she said still seeming worried. "uhh..." I tried to think hard but I couldn't remember. "i can't remember." i told her. "okay, okay, okay. lets go buy a couple test. go put on your shoes." she said pushing me towards my bedroom door. "wait! kenzie do i tell alessio?" i said in a whisper scream. "tell alessio what?" he said creeping up behind me. "oh fuck me" i said under my breathe. he kissed my neck from the back and wrapped his arms around my shoulders, resting his head on mine. kenzie looked at us with pure fear. "uh alessio, me and kenz have somewhere to go." i said moving away from him and i started putting my shoes on. alessio stood there confused, kenzie walked past him and over to my bed where i was sitting trying to tie my shoes. "y/n. we can't go, what if someone sees us!" she whispered to me. she was right, if someone were to see us buying a pregnetcy test, the media would go crazy. "shit.... uh.... let's get gio too. he doesn't have a girl so no one would know, or care." i whispered to her. "he's gonna tell alessio." kenzie said. " not if i tell him first." i said. kenzie rolled her eyes. she didn't think that it was a good idea. " I'll leave it you too it." she said walking out the door, shutting it behind her. alessio looked so confused. "what the hell is going on." he said laughing. once he examined my worried face, he quickly stopped laughing, after he realized something was wrong. i placed my elbows on my knees and cupped my head. he put his arm around me, and comforted me. "what's wrong baby?" he said genuinely. i took a few moments before i responded. "i-i-i think i might be pregnant." i said to him. shock appeared on his face. he stood up and ran his fingers through his hair. "WHAT? let me see the test." he said to me. "i didn't take one yet. we have to go to the store and get one." i told him. "k let's go then." he said grabbing my arm and pulling me up. "alessio! we can't just GO get one. what if someone sees us?!" i said standing up. a tear left my eye. I'm not gonna lie i was really scared. i just want to be my old self back in colorado before my life had changed. but here i was supposedly impregnated by my boyfriend alessio scalzotto. then bella entered the room dragging one sleepy gio behind her. "if i do this then you guys have to buy me lunch" he said. everyone laughed and i wiped the tear off my face. we go in the car and drove to the nearest pharmacy. Gio went inside and we told him to get the most expensive kind just to make sure it would be as accurate as possible. once gio came out of the store we made sure he got the right thing. he did. "the cashier looked at me so weirdly bro." he laughed. no one else said anything. it was a long quiet drive home. as soon as we arrived home i jumped out of the car and ran to the downstairs bathroom. i ripped the tests out of the packages and pee'd on three. i set them. on the counter and set a timer for 8 minutes. i opened the door and alessio was standing outside of it. he looked nervous. "am i gonna be a dad?" he said. "we have to wait 8 minutes for accurate results." i said to him. "okay okay, but this doesn't make sense didn't you get tested when we had the kidney transplant? i don't understand how they would have seen a baby in your stomach and still did the procedure." he said. after i realized what he just said i felt relief come upon my face. he was right. "holy fuck. you're right for once." i said, he smiled. and wrapped his arms around me and gripped my yk. "how about i actually impregnate you now?" he said in a very sexual way. it might've been just noon, but we still got it on.

birthday. 7:00 AM.

i woke up to all my roommates jumping on my bed and screaming. they all sang happy birthday to me. as thoughtful as it was i hate the mornings, and i hate my birthday. "thanks guys" i said more than tired. after a few minutes, everyone left besides alessio. "babeyyy get up, its your special dayyyy" he said to me. "ughhh" i said rolling back over. "cmon babe you're finally 18!!" he told me. "how about i just stay in my room all day, in my birthday suit and you sit back and enjoy it." i teased him. i turned around and looked at him, his face was red. "i-i-i" he tried to say something but his voice cracked. he was so embarrassed. i laughed at him. and he got mad. so i hugged him. he hugged me back, and i got up and got ready in my outfit for today.

*skip to the party tonight.*

i was honestly mad but thankful, that my friends cared enough to throw me a birthday party but i would much rather just a night in watching a movie. anyways, i'd spend the last 2 hours getting ready with makeup artists and stylists. not gonna lie i liked the "i didn't have to do anything" part, but i still dreaded it.

many guests had arrived, some of my friends back in CO, and lots of my internet friends came. in case you were wondering the theme of my party was feathers. I know it's a little odd but it was super cool and funny to see everyone wearing gorgeous feather dresses and boas. I greeted everyone i could and we all danced and drank and had fun. i was dancing with my girls on the floor, but i was thinking about alessio and i wanted to dance with him. i looked around but i couldn't find him so i asked around. someone had said they saw him in the basement earlier, so that's where i went. i walked down the staircase and my heels clicked on the stairs. there were some people down there, some random girl was passed out on the couch, and there was a small group playing beer pong. I walked over to the bar and saw someone familiar talked to alessio. It was a fairly short blonde, loose curls in her hair, girl. now i know i can be jealous sometimes but i don't care if alessio has friends that are girls. i walked behind the bar to were alessio was standing. on the other side the girl had sat on the middle bar stool. alessio was pouring too drinks. im guessing for himself and her. "oh hey babe." he said smiling. i could tell the girl was not amused. "heyy, who's this?" i said to him looking at her. I said it with a warming smile on my face, attempting for it to come off as comforting. "y/n, you don't remember?" he said to me. i shook my head confused. she looked so pissed it was hilarious. "babe, its lexa from my school. she was at like 5 parties we went to back in CO. you've talked to her everytime." he said to be kind of defensively not even gonna lie. "oh. well i was just gonna see if you wanted to dance, but its cool. just grab a drink with lexa." and i said that in a nice tone. not a sarcastic tone. i made sure you could tell if i was being serious or not. she still looked at me pissed. " i'll come dance with you just give me a sec, alright?" he said grabbing my waist when he said alright. "alrigtht, bye lexa. thanks for coming." i replied to alessio and then said my goodbyes to lexa. in the corner of my eye i saw lexa roll her eyes after i had left. i wasn't quite sure why she was so pissed but i don't really care so i went back to the dance floor. a really upbeat flirty song came on, and it lowkey had me feeling some type of way. me, kenz, dev, bella, and other girls we were close with were all dancing together and we were dancing on each other just feeling the music. hopefully the party would die down soon, so i could be with alessio. i said to myself in my head.
