Chapter 3: A new beginning

-2 months later-

I woke up to my alarm going off, the clock read 6:30 a.m. "2 more weeks. just 2 more until summer vacation." I thought to myself as I got up to take a shower. As I was stripping down my phone went off. It was Harry.  

"Good morning love! Hope you have a good day at school, can't wait to see you! -Harry xx" 

I always love getting his texts in the morning. They never fail to make me smile. "good morning Harry! Its going to be 2 loooong weeks! Can't wait to see you either! miss you! -Rita xx" mornings really arent my thing.

After I showered I headed off to school. I walk alone ever since my friend passed away. The mornings are now really lonley for me. I put my headphones in and played music as I continued my walk.  

When I got to school I headed off to class. No one bothers to talk to me, they know I don't really care.

As the last bell rang, I left school. Everyday I visit my friend at the cemetary, after school. I spend hours talking to her about any thing and everything, as if she was there with me. I told her about how I met Harry and he makes sure I'm ok.  

"Hi Spence, I really miss you. I wish you were here and I know I tell you that everyday but it's just so hard without you. I know your watching me though and if you are listening, just always remember I love you. I wish I could have saved you. I looked up to you Spence! Why'd you have to leave me? You were the most beautiful girl I've ever known, and you were everything I've ever wanted to be. I guess that's why we are such good friends. You brought me out of my shell and thank you for that..." I kept rambleing on to her. after an hour of sitting there it started to rain. "guess, I'll be going now. I know you'd kill me if you were here for being in the rain. you always had this idea of someone getting hit with lightning. well, I'll see you tomorrow. I love you Spence and always remember that."

When I got home, I went up to my room to change. I put on gray sweats and a sum 41 shirt and put my hair up in a messy bun. (A/N: thats how I look right now haha) I went over to my bed and burried my head in a pillow. My room had all white walls, one of them was covered in song lyrics and notes from Spence written on it. My bed was a pretty big bed, you could have a party in it if you really wanted to. It was placed in the middle of another wall. The 3rd wall in my room had the doors to my walk in closet and my bathroom on it.

"Hey Rita!" my mom yelled up to me. 

"yeah mom?!" 

"someone's here for you!" 

"OK! I'll be right there!" wait, who would be here for me? I don't talk to any one in school. I went downstairs to find a curly haired boy with green sparkling eyes staring at me. "HARRY!" I yelled as I ran towards him. Harry picked me up in a hug and spun me around. "what are you doing here?"  

"I couldn't wait 2 weeks to see you. So managment gave me some time off. and I figured since It's a Friday we could spend the night together." he had the biggest smile on his face ever.
