I woke and felt this warmth against me, I fully opened my eyes to see Mattia still peacefully sleeping, I moved a bit and he pulled me closer wrapping his arms around me like I was a teddy bear

I didn't want to move, I sort of like being cuddled with him, I shut my eyes but opens them quickly hearing footsteps near my door

I heard a knock, which I knew was my uncle since Aliz never knocks

"y/n! You awake?"
he yelled out making sure I can hear him

"yea Tìo, I'm just changing, I'll be down in a minute"

"aleight!"

He yelled back. I sighed in relief he didn't open my door

"you yelled in my ear"
Mattia mumbled. His voice was raspy, but my god did it sound good, he still had his arms wrapped around me and his eyes were still closed

I got up from my bed and grabbed some jeans and a t-shirt

"what are you doing?" He said looking back at me squinting his eyes

"changing, look away?!"

he put a pillow over his head as I was changing so he wouldn't see me

"ok I'm done"
I picked up my shoes and put them on after I put on some socks

"your gonna jump out my window when I text you, don't walk downstairs"

He nodded as his eyes were still closed

Y/n grabbed her bag and walked and shut her door behind her, she walked down stairs and grabbed an apple

"I gotta be at school early, bye tìo, love you!"
She said walking out the door

"bye! And be careful!"
He yelled out

I walked outside and texted Mattia to come out

Mattia got up and put his shoes on. He looked out the window seeing her standing on the yard. He got out and got into the tree climbing down

"you pretty good at that"

Mattia-thank you?
he said confused

"ok, I gotta go to school, see ya"
She grabbed her skateboard

Mattia-wait! Let's ditch today

"why?"

Mattia-because school is boring? Let's go to the mall

"I went to the mall yesterday?"

Mattia-then what do we do? Cause we are not going to school

"fine. The library and then the skatepark, I'll yea h you how to skate"
She smiled

Mattia-library?

"I need a new book to read?"

Mattia-I guess, but your boring

"shut up"
She said putting her skateboard the back of Mattia's car

He started driving to the library and once we got there we went into the "fiction" isle

I was looking around and seen some pretty good books that I was interested in

Mattia-hey you should read this books,  it's called dangerously in love

Y/n-what's it about?

Mattia-so basically it's about a girl who lives in pretty bad neighborhood. And she gets bullied ins cool  by two girls. Then a guy wants to talk to her but he's scared. And then he and his two friends eventually talk to her, and they realize she's in a gang and they want to join. She says no and shit. But then they join and he tries getting with her and a whole lot of drama starts

Y/n-that sounds like the most boring story

Mattia-it's pretty good. I like it

Y/n-I'm good thanks, plus I found a book, now let's go go eat, and your paying

Mattia-but I'm broke

Y/n-no your not
I smiled at him

I checked out my book and got back into the car

Mattia-what are we gonna eat?

Y/n-whatever I don't really care

Mattia-fine, Waffle House it is
he said starting the car and driving

And my god was his driving so attractive, one hand in the steering wheel and the other on the gear shift, I know I shouldn't be getting close but I won't, I'm still going to go through with this plan

We got to Waffle House and sat down at a booth, the waiter took our order and I looked at a table seeing him, he looked up from his phone and looked at me and smiled. He got up and walked toward Mattia and I

"hey y/n"
He smiled

"hey vinnie"
I said nervous

Mattia looked at both of us confused

"oh Mattia. This is vinnie, my old friend"

"friend? I'm her ex-boyfriend. we dated for a year, till I moved to California"

"speaking of that? Why are you back in jersey?"
I asked

Vinnie-moved back. My mom didn't like very much over there

I looked over at Mattia who seemed to be annoyed

Vinnie-is he your boyfriend?
He pointed at Mattia

"what? no! he's just my friend, do you wanna sit with us? we're gonna go to the skatepark after?"

Vinnie-Yea why not

He walked back to his table to get his things

Mattia was opposite from me and he got up and moved next to me, he was jealous, I smirked knowing I had him wrapped around my finger

Vinnie sat down and asked for a waiter to take his order

I placed my hand on Mattia's there and went a little higher, I could feel his eyes on me. And I seen him adjust his sweatpants he had on

The waiter took vinnie's order and walked back to the kitchen

Vinnie-so y/n, hows school going after I left?

Y/n-boring, I still only y'all to Emily, everyone else is boring

Vinnie-Wait? So you two aren't dating?
he pointed at Mattia and I

Mattia-gross

Y/n-exactly, were not, just friends
I started moving my hand on his thigh

The waiter brought our food and we started eating. Mattia was pretty quiet but I assumed he was annoyed at vinnie

I need ideas....
