Ophelia in her blue polka dot nightdress poked Olivia from her slumber.
'Wake up Olivia, Something is wrong' she shook her again and again.
'Wake up, damn it!' she swore.
'What is it!' Olivia, she shot off from her bed, looking angry at Ophelia for waking her up from her sweet dream in the arms of Jason.
'It's Mason' Ophelia looked worried, gone was the anger in Olivia's voice.
'What's wrong with Mason?' She asked.
'He called, ...'
'He called? How did you even have his number?, I don't even have J....'
'Stop interrupting me and let me speak'.
Olivia looked shocked and muted her speech immediately.
'You need to dress up now, we are going to the Hospital' she threw a dress at her as she struggled to put hers on.
By the time they got to the hospital, it was an unkempt face of Mason that they saw. His eyes looked swollen, his forehead arrayed with worry lines.
'He's gone Ophelia, Jason ...' Ophelia rushed forward to embrace him.
He hugged her and started sobbing, he murmured unintelligent words that Ophelia could not understand.
Olivia was shocked, she sat on the bench in the corridor and stared into space. She thought about her Dad and how he died, She bit her lips and started lamenting.
'Jason Is dead!' She gasped.
'Why is it that, people I love end up being sick, why do they die?' She looked up to the corridor ceiling.
'Why did you take him from me' She cried silently and waited for the needle pricking guilt she had once felt, when her father died, vibrate through her, but it didn't come, not even a trace.
Instead, what she felt was regret, a rush of regrets but with no guilt.
'Oh Jason' she sobbed has more tears fell from her now swollen face.
Her phone rings, the alarm kept beeping, reminding her that time was really spent.
At that moment, she concluded that time will never be enough.
