                                                     A day with Pete I'll never forget: Part 2 of 2

After playing a few more games and looking at cars I told Pete let's take a break, and take that swim, he said OKAY I told him he can just change in the downstairs bathroom, I'll be right back. As I'm going upstairs to change the house phone rang, I answered it in the living room. Hey ma, she asked how I knew it was her, I told her because most people call on the cell, she's the only one who calls landline. Ma said other people do too, but anyway she asked me now what am I doing, I told her what Pete and I have been doing all afternoon since the first time she called.

Ma said good someone is there with some sense, and they won't be home until tomorrow afternoon see if Pete's folks will let him spend the night with me. Mom I'm eighteen I think I can stay home alone, she said she knows that but what's wrong with company and not Raw and Smurf.  I told her okay I'll see if Pete wants to stay the night, mom said there's plenty of food for two people, and remember what she said no Smurf or Raw, or Falisha either I'm not about to make her a grandmother.

Ma I heard you and besides all of them are out of town, she said good and Pet's a nice boy, she said there about to stop over my pops house why Jason always has to see him when they come up there is beyond her, bye ma she said remember what she said and don't sleep in her bed naked either and she hung up. Before I went upstairs I knocked on the bathroom door and told Pete what ma said about him spending the night,  he said that's cool he'll call his moms now, I went upstairs and got changed into my trunks, its even hotter than it was this morning. After I got changed I went downstairs Pete's sitting at the counter on the phone, he said his mom wants to talk to me and he gave me his phone, I hate talking to other peoples parents. His mom called back he said yes ma'am and no ma'am I guess she's asking him the same questions she asked me, about staying home and no drinking. Pete hung up and said its cool if he stays the night, his mom acts like he's seven instead of seventeen, we went outside and jumped in the pool.

The water felt good, Pete said when his folks aren't at home on a day like today he's butt ass naked in his room with the door locked, in case his little brother tries to walk in his room, Pete's brother Eric is Jason's best friend. I told him if he wasn't here I'd be naked, and I'd probable be swimming naked too.
