"I beg your pardon?" His eyes grew in size as he stared at me.

"Sorry if that was a little forward, but what I'm trying to say is, if you're hungry I would be fine if you drank from me." I gave him an honest smile. I could tell I caught him off guard, which was funny, but probably surprising.

"Well, I..." He ran a hand through his hair, trying to collect himself.

"I mean, that's kinda what I'm here for." I laughed.

He paused for a moment, then sighed. "I suppose, if you are sure. I would love to."

"Cool!" I stood up, sweeping my hair off of one shoulder and held it over my other.

"I'm sorry Dahae, but what are you doing?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Hyunjin drinks from my neck, do you not want to?" I tilted my head.

He chuckled, "It would be much less - messy- if I drank from your wrist."

I laughed awkwardly, "You're right." I sat back down and rolled up my sleeve a bit.

He took my wrist with one hand and raised it to his face.

"Are you sure, Dahae?" He looked me in the eyes with a very soft expression.

I nodded.

He directed his attention back to my wrist, as he slowly inched towards it. Once it touched his lips, I felt two pinches and the feeling in my arm slowly fade.

Besides the bite, the sensation felt a lot like Hyunjin's. I could feel the blood getting sucked out, but it was much softer. It felt so much more... humane.

I stared at the look on his face, at first I thought he looked peaceful. But the longer I looked, I could see his expression change just a bit. He looked like he was holding himself back. And he looked a bit guilty.

He released his teeth from my skin, still hovering over the spot. I could see a little tiny drop of blood beginning to drip down, when Chan stuck just the tip of his tongue out. I could see his sharp teeth as he lightly licked the spot.

Then he pulled away swiftly, wiping his lips with the back of his hand.

"Wow." My eyes were wide as I stared at the tiny bite mark that was now clean of blood. And before I knew it, the mark was completely gone.

"Do you feel alright?" Chan looked at me worriedly.

"I barely felt anything! How did you do that?" I stared at him with wonder.

He softened into a smile. "A century of practice, I suppose."

I grazed my skin with a finger, there was literally no evidence of any bite. This whole vampire thing was getting a lot less terrifying really fast.
