Chapter 8

You sit up and see Gaege next to you, its only 7:28. You go into the living room and begin putting everything away, throwing the clothes in the washer. You put on a tan romper and small heels. You get in Gaeges car and go get moving boxes from the store. You come back 25 minutes later. Gaege is still asleep and you begin packing. You start with the non-essentials and work your way up. You get a call at 8:04.

"Y/N: Hello?

Narrator: Hey sista. Did Josh talk to you about moving?

Y/N: Yea he did, I'm in the middle of packing actually.

Narrator: Can I ask for some advice?

Y/N: Whats up?

Narrator: Do I put news paper around glass items?

Y/N: Yep, thats the best way to make sure they don't break.

Narrator: Thanks Y/N, I'll talk to you later.

Y/N: See ya!"

He hangs up as you take a minute and sit down.

"These past couple of weeks have been so crazy." You think to yourself.

You walk back over to the kitchen when you get a group text.

Mul: Yooo, everyone started packing?

Fav Mexican: Of course fool, me and Gabby are halfway done.

Narrator: I'm getting there.

I've been doing that for the past hour, Gaege is still asleep.

Josh: I'm about done.

Mul: Alright, awesome.

Fav Mexican: Should we pack today, crash at a hotel, and continue the drive after?

I think that sounds good.

Josh: I agree, its a 12 hour drive, nearest hotel is 2 hours. So we crash there

and then drive it out.

Mul: That works, we can always stay at another.

Narrator: That sounds perfect.

Fav Mexican: We all meet at the hotel tonight at what, 9?

Mul: Considering its not even 10 am, that should work.

Josh: I'm good with that.

Alright, sounds good to me.

Narrator: I'll see you guys then.

You put your phone down and continue packing. Gaege walks out of your guys' room.

"Packing already?" He asks.

"Yea, read the group chat, we have a plan." You smile at him.

He opens his phone and sits next to you on the floor. Gaege begins scrolling through the messages. You continue packing. Hours pass and 6 pm rolls around. You throw all your bags in the car and head to the hotel.

Has anyone left yet?

Mul: I've been driving for about 30 minutes.

Josh: I'm leaving now.

Fav Mexican: Me and Gabby are leaving in 10.

Narrator: I left maybe 45 minutes ago.

You and Gaege talked off and on the car ride.

"Gaege: Hey baby?

Y/N: Whats up my love?

Gaege: I don't wanna throw you to the curb and in no way am I trying to end things. But I wanna focus on YouTube a bit more.

Y/N: Go ahead baby, I understand that.

Gaege: Yea but I feel bad because nobody else has spare time.

Y/N: Its okay, I should start focusing on myself more and shit.

Gaege: Okay, I love you.

Y/N: I love you too Gaege. Forever and always."

You guys arrived at the hotel and got your room. Soon, the 7 of you met in the breakfast area to talk.

"Mully: So we get up at say 10 and keep driving?

Eddie: Sure, that works." Gabby nods.

"Narrator: 10 is fine.

Josh: Alright, yea that works.

Gaege: I'm fine with that." You nod after him.

With nothing else to do, you guys head out to lunch. You check your phone in the car.

2 message from; Dad

"Hey sweetie. Its been a minute since I texted you. Sorry to bother you, if that's the case. I hope your doing alright. I love you."

You smiled happily at your phone.

"Gaege, Gaege...!" You looked at him, showing him the message.

He glanced at it, still driving.

"That's good baby!" He smiled and held one of your hands.

You smiled. You haven't heard from your dad in months, he's in the army and he was away for training. You called your dad and talked for a while. After a long ass day of driving, you arrived at the new house. Jesus was it perfect.
