I ran and ran until my lungs were burning for me to stop. I had felt my wolf lose connection with my pack when i exited their territory about 50 miles back. I stopped under a willow tree and shifted into my human form. i used my bag as a pillow and let darkness take over.

i was awoken in the middle of the night by a growl, i jumped up and took a fighting stance, infront of me stood 3 large black wolves, they were about the size of an alpha, i cowered back and whimpered, bowing my head in submission. I heard them shift and go behind tree's to shift.

" LOOK UP " what seemed to be the leader of the three said powerfully

I looked up and saw three hot guys standing infront of me, my wolf purred inside my head.

" We just lost our mate, now is not the time to be drooling over these strangers!" i shamed my wolf through our link

" Who are you?!" the leader asked

" My name is Makayla Nicole Grey " i said looking down at my feet

"YOU WILL LOOK ME IN THE EYE WHEN YOU SPEAK TO ME!" he yelled out loud

i could feel myself tearing up in fear, before i knew it there were tears streaming down my face

" JAKE! your scaring her!" the second in command said.

im just ganna guess that he is the second in command. i could tell that they were rouges like me but it seemed that they had some type of order going on.  But based off of the info i do have right now, the leader's name is Jake.

" Are you ok?" Jake asked me

" Are you going to hurt me?" i asked with fear etched onto my face

" of course not, come with us we will help you" he said

I was about to , when all of a sudden i dropped to the ground screaming in pain, my whole body felt like it was on fire.

" What is happening?" i asked my wolf through our link

" Our mate is marking another " she said whimpering in my head.

i curled up in a ball and started to weep, the pain continued until darkness took over.

I woke up and felt soft, i felt silk. i opened my eyes and realized i was laying in someone's bed. i wonder who's . I all of a sudden remembered all of the memories from last night. I started to cry again.

I don't know how long i have been weeping for, it have been minutes or it might have been hours , but idk.

Jake walked in and sat on the edge of the bed. hmm this must be his room.

" How are you feeling?" he said rubbing my calvel. it actually felt good, my legs were sour from all the running.
