Chapter 3

Makayla's POV
It's been over a week since i left my old pack and im already loving here with my new family. They are a tiny pack of about 5 people. The leader's name is Jake and i really like him. He kept his promise, i know i have only been here for a week, but he has protected me from every single little thing possible since then. The beta's name is Austin. He is actually a pretty cool guy. Im going to be introduced to their tiny pack tonight so i can learn everyones name. All of the guys are mateless though, this is going to be interesting.

" hey, you ready to go down?" Jake asked
" Well not really, but i don't have a choice" i said nervously
" nope " he said with a chuckle.
We started to walk down the spiral staircase, don't get me wrong, just because they are rouges doesn't mean they don't get money from the supreme council. Of course they still do and they just put it all together to buy this place, its about the size of an upper class families house with a game room , movie theatre , 8 master bedrooms, and you know the basic kitchen , living room, and dining room. Each bedroom is giant and has a connecting bathroom.
As we reached the bottom of the stairs , i saw 5 guys sitting around a table, i only noticed Austin, because i got introduced to him earlier he is about 6'1'' and has blonde flippy hair . He also has grey eyes. He is actually pretty hot, but im not going to lie, a lot of the guys in the , i guess you could say, pack, are really cute.
"Makayla, this is my third in command Nick" he said motion towards a guy about 6'0" with brown short hair, he had a sort of player look to him. You know the I play soccer, wear khaki shorts, and cheat on my girlfriend's haircuts.
" Nice to meet you, is it ok if i call you Mak?" he said winking at me
I shyly mumbled a yes and just stared at my feet.
"ok, and this is Doug ands Dan , they are brothers and they are the best warriors in the whole United States." he said motioning to , two very similar looking guys,they were HUGE , but not as in fat, as in muscular . they both had black hair, an kinda looked like Jacob from Twilight but much MUCH bigger.
" Nice to meet you" they said in unison
a gave a curt nod and just kept staring at my feet
" What happened to you?" Jake said gently lifting my chin up with his finger. I hadn't even noticed that i had started to cry.
All the guys were surrounding me in an instant and pulling me into a group hug.
I started to tell them, and when i said tell them, i mean i told them everything from my parents dieing all the way to my mate rejecting me and marking another girl. by the time i was done all of the guys were fuming with anger.
Doug pulled me into a bone crushing hug
" we wont ever let anyone hurt you like that ever again, you start training in a couple days, ok Mak?" Doug said
" ok" i said smiling up at them a little.

I was walking up the stairs to my bedroom, its been a long couple of days , a lot has happened, with meeting the guys and leaving my old pack and stuff. Today Austin took me shopping for clothes, and tomorrow i start my training. Im actually really excited, my old pack wouldn't let me train with them so i never really felt welcome, but since i was never trained, that also meant that i had no idea on how to even begin to defend myself.
" Hey Mak!" Jake said coming up behind me and hugging me
"Oh, hey Jake " i said in reply
He kissed my neck gently and started to trial them to my collar bone.
" Jake what are you doing?" i asked leaning my neck to give him better access
"Shh " he said turning me around a wraping his arms around my waist to draw me closer.
He kissed my lips and i immediately responded, this is my first kiss, omg Jake is my first kiss. I cant believe this is actually happening.
We pulled away, both panting for breath.
" stay with me?" i asked
He shook his head as if he knew exactly what i meant.

This is it, today is my first day of training, this is the starting of a new me, a improved me. From this day fourth i will no longer be weak . i will be strong and i will be able to defend myself.
