This is a piece of concept that I kept thinking of. I just had to write it down and share it with you all.

Powder Keg, The Caster of Black, was summoned for the Great Holy Grail War. Yet in the twisted path of this war. Jack The Ripper, Assassin of Black went rogue.

He walked the quiet streets of Romania. Mist began to seep in, poisoned. Powder Keg kept up his hunt. Jack was his prey and he never lets his prey escape.

He found a green haired woman lying face first on the wet pavement. Powder Keg would've ignored her and continued on his way. Yet, he stopped this feeling was familiar.

This lingering sentiment forced him to heave her over his shoulder. "Come on let's get you inside," Powder Keg said coldly. "My child...where is.." she gasped out. Powder Keg froze, should he look for this woman's child?

This freezing pain is all too familiar. His chest began to burn in guilt. His instincts were screaming at him to just drop the woman off. Yet, that would mean abandoning an innocent child. Like with...her, and he couldn't live with that guilt again.

"I'll find your child, for now. I need to make sure your kid has a mother to return to," Powder Keg said much less frigid. The sound of a gun cocking reached his ears. The woman, Reika pointed a pistol at his stomach. "I'll take your word for it," she replied sinisterly.

"Oh, you bitch, that's a low bl-" Powder Keg was interrupted by three bullets striking true. He fell to his knees as Reika approached him. "I shot you in the heart, but you still live. This should work," Reika pointed the gun at his head.

One more shot and Powder Keg was shot in the head. Reika turned around satisfied with her job. Yet harsh cackling stopped her. The corpse, that should've been left alone. Rose up and the bullets fell to the street. His only exposed eye glared at her, the other in gauze. His eye was a sharp blue, the pupil was slit like a snake.

"I'll give you a headstart," Powder Keg smiled with dark glee. Reika ran for her life. Looking at her command seal. She needed Jack to defend her.

Powder Keg could hear a little girl crying. He found Reika and Jack with eachother. Jack on her back, and walking down the dirty path.

He leaned on a car like it was an everyday stroll. Flipping a gold coin that shined in the air. Reika stopped and stared at a car mirror. Powder Keg put the coin away. Then out came a repeating pistol. The mist Jack created bent to create it.

Three shots rang out, and Reika fell to the pavement. Powder Keg laughed cruelly at her misfortune. He began to approach the crying Jack. He saw Atalanta jump down next to him.

Powder Keg would've usually comforted Jack. The cries where so genuine and sincere. Ugly and primal, but Powder Keg knew what lied beneath. Jack was a beast covered in innocent skin. No tears would sway him from his duty.

One more shot hit Jack's spine. "Is that Assassin of Black?" Atalanta asked disgusted. Powder Keg continued his stride. As he finished walking to Jack. Their head twister backwards with a crack. Jolting up suddenly, she asked "why?" Bursting into mist.

It blinded them and the city changed. Powder Keg looked around in curiosity. This was so reminiscent of Yharnam. The dress, the hygiene, the people. This was a nightmare, like the one of Mensis and the Hunter's Nightmare.

"Why?"
"Why?"
"Why?"
"Why"
"Why"

"Why did you kill Mom?"

The voices of dissonant children in his head asked. Powder Keg scoffed at this attempt to scare him. He couldn't see Atalanta anywhere. They must've gotten separated.
