It was quiet for a second but then she finally replied.
"Yes." She said, quietly. "I've liked you for the longest time ever, athena." " I like you."
"Billie...." I say. I don't know what to say right now.... I really don't know.
I start to blush but then I quickly hide it.
She looks up at me patiently waiting for an answer. I smile at her and say " Wow Billie, I uh.. don't know what to say.. let's just take this slow okay..? I don't think I'm ready." I explain.
"Okay, I totally understand. Billie says smiling back as she gives me a hug.
We both walk back to where everyone is and they are all awake now.
"Soooo you know how your phone broke?" Tana speaks out. "Mhm.." I say. "Close your eyes." Billie says.
"Open them."
I gasp, " you all got this for me?" I say, trying not to get emotional. But wow I have really great friends.
"Duhhh, it was Billies idea though." Larray says, smiling while handing it to me.

~~~~~~~~~~~~ It was 1:28 at night and everyone is gone. I am picking out an outfit to school because I know for a fact I will end up waking up very late.
I finally find an outfit and plug my phone and AirPods in. I turn the tv on a drift of to sleep.

I wake up and look at the time.
"Shit"
School starts at 9:30. I'm gonna be late! I run to the bathroom and brush my teeth quickly and wash my face. I brush my hair. I put on a shirt and jogging pants cause I wanted to be comfy and grab my purse. I put my phone and AirPods and head out the door.
It's 9:27 so I'll try to see if I can just get a drink from Starbucks.
The line isn't long at all so I go.
