~chapter 1~
Y/n had always lived a happy life. She had both her parents who loved her and supported her, a lovely older brother named Levin and She was also captain of her middle school's volleyball team at Kitagawa Daiichi. Y/n was an excellent setter. She loved playing volleyball. It became her biggest passion ever since her grandfather introduced her to volleyball. There was just something so amazing and so fascinating about the the sport that y/n truly adored.
As y/n got ready for her first day of her 3rd year (middle school btw) her mother called her from the kitchen downstairs.
"Y/n honey you're going to be late!!" Her mother said as she rushed to the counter and grabbed the car keys
"Breakfast is set for you on the table sweetie! I'm running late for work, have a nice first day!!!"
" bye mom!! Love you!" Y/n yelled back as she heard the front door shut. She sighed. Y/n was a pretty anxious person so she was more nervous than excited on her first day. She quickly finished changing into her uniform, packed her bag and rushed downstairs.
"Levin!!! Are you taking me to school today or can I walk to school this time?" Y/n asked the tall brown haired boy who was packing up his school bag in a rush.
"I'm sorry y/n I can't today I slept in and I totally forgot I had an orientation going on first thing in the morning!" Levin said as he rushed to the front door and put on his shoes.
"O-okay have a nice day then big bro!" Y/n told her brother as he waved back to her and rushed to his car.
"Ugh I guess we're walking then. I could really use some exercise though." Y/n told herself as she sat down to eat breakfast.

As y/n entered the gates of her school she stopped briefly and took a deep breath. "Here we go, last year at Kitagawa Daiichi, YOU GOT THIS Y/N!" She told herself as she heard the first bell ring indicating that class was about to start. She quickly took out her schedule out of her bag and dashed into the bulding.
Once she entered the classroom, her teacher greeted her and told her where she was to sit. Y/n nodded as she took her seat next to a raven haired boy, who was looking out the window. He had his blue eyes fixed on the school's gym, y/n then proceeded to introduce herself to her classmate.
"H-hi there my names l/n f/n, but you can call me y/n~chan for short." She smiled as the raven boy turned around to look at her.
"O-oh hey there my names Kageyama Tobio, nice t-to meet you y/n~chan." He said as he gave y/n a quick smile before facing the front of the classroom as the bell rang.

"K-kageyama, right?" Y/n said as the the class ended.
"Yea?" Kageyama said as he stood up.
"Are you new here? I haven't seen you around here before." Y/n asked with a curious face.
"N-no I've been here since my first year. Why do you ask?" He continued as they both started to walk out the class.
"Oh no reason I was just curious." Y/n gave him another quick smile.
"Well I have to get going now." You said as you two bid goodbyes and went to your next class.

𝐇𝐦𝐦...𝐊𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐲𝐚𝐦𝐚'𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫? 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐈'𝐯𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞? Y/n thought to herself. There was something about the raven haired boy that intrigued her. He seemed filled with mystery, but in a good way.
"I should probably get to know him more he seems cool." Y/n thought as she continued walking to her next class.
