10 MINUTES BEFORE THE SCHOOL BELL RINGS

Although it took me quite some time, I managed to get to the teachers office before the bell rang and that counted as a win for me. It was a struggle to find this place as I walked through bullies, kids that were running around the corridor and some girls that had mascara all over their faces. Alas, not even one of them decided to help me or point me in the right the direction. Thank heavens that I found a teacher in all that commotion, if not I'm sure I would still be roaming around the corridors, trying desperately to receive some guidance. That all leads up to this point, as I stood in front of my homeroom teacher, Miss Caroline as she sat at her desk and went through some of my files and repot cards. I can tell by all your report card that you are a very bright and well behaved student, Mr. Woods. That gets me wondering, with your scores you could enroll in any top academies so, why our school? asked Miss Caroline as she slowly stared me up and down as if she were analyzing me. Although I know there are many other well maintained schools, my parents have talked highly of this school ever since I was a child. They said their wish was to send me to this prestigious school so I can build up character to successfully take over my family's business. Ah yes, it totally slipped my mind that you were a great heir, she said. It seems that sentence can attract a lot of attention as now a few other teachers nearby listened in to our conversation with interest. I wouldn't say I'm a great heir or anything like that. A teacher that was passing by stopped in her tracks as she looked at me intensively. I've seen you somewhere before, but I just cant remember where she said as she thought profusely. Of course you would remember him, his whole family is everywhere on the internet as well as every billboard in this city. He is the son of the biggest real estate shareholders in almost the entire world. Miss Caroline said as she looked at me. That was it. I cant believe I'm in the presence of such an important person. The other teacher said as she smiled and walked away to continue her work. Miss, I don't know why you would say that. She didn't even know who I was until you told her. Its not like she wouldn't find out later on. Lets just say I'm saving you the trouble of explaining, she said as she stood up and started walking. I stood there for a moment watching her walk away, not knowing what to do.

She looked back at me and signaled for me to follow her, a smug smile on her face as she continued to walk away. What could that smile have meant? It was a question that ran through my head for only a moment before it disappeared as soon as it appeared. I shrugged to myself as I followed my new homeroom teacher, making sure I didn't lose sight of her and got lost. The bell rang as we walked, signaling that class had started. All the students scrambled into their classroom, not wanting to get caught by their teachers. I looked at my teacher who was still a few steps in front of me. Who was she and why did I get such a weird and eerie feeling by her?
