Diana glanced around her to see if the was anyone around. Since the day her father had discovered that Samson had been visiting her frequently, he demanded the royal guard not to let her out of the palace, if not necessary.
She on the other hand had a plan. She decided to borrow Jasmine working garments so that she could easily step out of the palace without been found out.
The royal guard stood near the immense gates as he guarded it as if it was his closest possession. Diana quickly but slowly made her way out of the Palace, thank goodness he had not stooped her or else she wouldn't have made it out.
When she had made her way out, she lifted her lengthy dress and darted down the heavy ground. If she could escape like this every time, she would preferably choose to leave anytime without her father knowing.
But on the bright side, her being able to flee meant that she could see Samson. But on the dark side she really never knew if her father would find out or not and if he did she did be in great distress. However, she couldn't really care less, since she was used to her papa's consent frustration and resentment.
She had noticed samson sat on a black horse and she dashed towards him as he supported her up the horse. The horse shortly rode off and the two were now hurriedly seen.
They had soon reached the forest and in the heart of the forest, was an idle river that carried all the debris that fell in from above slowly downstream. The water was cool and refreshing, as both got down the horse she inhaled the fresh warm scent of the river. While Samson, on the other hand, tied the horse near one of the trees.
She turned and found samson inches from her, his eyes stared at her. " So you really did come "
She smiled slightly " Why wouldn't I"
Samson slowly laid himself down on the flat ground " You know Diana, ever since I came back there's been something different about you "
Diana looked over at him, surprised. He looked up the sky, still focused on his statement.
" Really?" she asked.
He replied, his eyes still fixed on the sky" Yes very much. You seem quite reserved and glum, you don't seem like the princess I knew when I left "
" I don't think I have changed, but am rather the same," she said as she sat herself down.
" Did you know, the first time I saw you, I thought you seem to be free and ambitious, more capable and captivating"
" Why you telling me this," she asked, she clearly knew that samson was somewhat right.
" Well perhaps am saying this, because now am seeing you in a different light " he paused and inhaled softly, " I thought you did be optimistic once you saw me , but you weren't"
" I was glad to see you back, it's just that if Papa saw me with you, he'd cause a commotion"
Samson stood up and shifted his eyes from the sky and gazed at her. He stated softly " You know Diana, you don't always have to make your decisions based on what others think "
" Am not only making my decision based on what others think Samson, am making it based on what they think about you too?" she said miserably.
". But why do you care what your father thinks about us?" He asked, his voice hinted a bit of disappointment and grief.
" I care because he's that kind of father that will always get his way when he despises a person" she paused before she continued" But I do love you Samson "
" So you would rather listen to him, rather than your own heart" his voice was stained, hardly even a whisper.
The way Samson looked at her, made her feel uneasy and grim. He reached forward, his hands held her's " stop letting others make the choices for you and start making them yourself " he caught her wrist and pulled her hand down to press flat on her heart " listen to your heart also "
Diana gave a slight smile, her eyes still kept on Samson's.

This afternoon wasn't what she had expected, neither did she want their conversation to move into that kind if subject. All she wanted was to have a little laughter and joy with him but that also didn't go expected. But it wasn't that bad. Samson words had made her feel more confident in her hope and desires. And that's another reason why she loved him, he was truthful, affectionate and sincere, not at all what her father had said he was. He was every woman's fantasy.
Diana soon arrived at the palace, as she entered the palace hall, she was greeted by her father who was standing near the protracted stairs.
"So, you decided to go against my words?" Her father asked. He was stepping lightly towards her. " You thought I did never find out? "
" That's none of your concern papa" Diana replied. " I may leave whenever I please?".
" I told you yesterday that Mr Rochester was to arrive today," he said. " And what do you do? You went ahead and left. You made him wait upon you for an extended time. If you don't put your act together now, you'll ruin the monarchy"
Instead of answering her father, she controlled her anger and replaced it with self-control.
" I may take my leave then " she announced as she headed up the stairs to her room.
She expected her father to wail at her as she walked off, however, he didn't instead he clutched his jaw before he sauntered off to his room.

Meanwhile, Samson stepped inside the uncomfortably large room. The floor was polished concrete, the walls white and the furniture fitted at the middle and side of the window. but the name escapes me for the moment.
His uncle was done with him, he walked up to him suddenly, his hand's braked across his face. The slap was as loud as a clap and stung his face. It had been an open-handed smack and it had left a red welt behind. Just below his eye was a small cut where his uncle's ring had caught him.
" What do you think you were doing, running off with the princess!" He yelled, his voice could have almost reached the hates if the compartment." Do know how embarrassed I was when the king came here asking if his daughter was here. for goodness sake Samson, You just came back and look at the commotion you're brought with you"
" I'm free to do whatever I wish uncle " he responded as he strolled off.
" Remember, your place young man " he yelled. At this moment he was in a rage " Don't forget that I took you in when in fact I could have left you to suffocate in that rigid place"
Emma who seemed to have been alarmed at the noise that roamed inside the hallway stood upstairs and inspected the situation.
" You told me to go to the military and I went, and now you want to control my whole life " he paired before he spoke again" I never ask you to take me in, it was my father so if you don't mind I may take may take my leave. "
Samson hardly ever showed emotion beyond fatigue. He showed a polite interest in the lives of his uncle family but otherwise kept himself to himself. But today was different, everything his uncle had said was utterly wrong.
He didn't manage to go to his room as two of them continued to howl at each other, their voices rose above the sacred silence. A glance, touch, and one small comment stirred a hurricane of harsh and horsed insults. Their own Pandora boxes opened, sending each word full speed ahead to shatter into a million pieces.
His uncle glared at him then spat out " You're a failure to this family"
Samson replied " I was never part of yours anyways" He noted his words and left, of course, this only worsened his uncle's wrath.
