Jimin is relieved to know that Hyolyn has already been arrested. However, his heart still hurts when he thinks about his husband, who almost died because of that stupid action of wanting to be a superhero.

"I'm sorry, please don't ignore me."

Jungkook was released from the hospital five days ago, but since arriving home, Jimin has been working hard to avoid any conversation with Jungkook as a form of protest.

"Jin Hyung, can you help me? I'm tired, and I'm sleepy."

Jin looked at Jungkook's face. His expression was sad. Jimin completely ignored him. Jin and Jungkook knew why Jimin was behaving like that.

"Um... I..."

Jin hesitates. He loves Jimin. He knows Jimin is insecure about their relationship right now, especially given their current situation, where Jungkook risks his life for the girl. But Jimin and Jungkook need to talk.

"If you can't help me, I..."

"You guys need to talk."

"No, we don't."

The simple answer came with a painful tone. A dark stare was what Jimin gave to his beloved hyung.

"Believe me, Jimin, when the conversation ends, so does the relationship," Jin replied seriously. It's true; most relationships fail because of a lack of communication.

"Hyung, please..."

Jimin begged Jin to bring him up to his room. He doesn't want to talk; he just needs his bed. For sure, he's tired. He does not get enough sleep when he accompanies Jungkook at the hospital, and now his overthinking has made him unable to get enough sleep.

"If you can no longer keep a conversation going, then don't expect to be able to keep the relationship going."

That's the warning. Jin always gives the best advice about relationships. The conversation is the key to a successful relationship.

"What... what do you want me to expect? He chooses that girl over me?"

"Jimin... I'm not."

"Don't..."

A tear dropped from Jimin's eye. For the first time, Jimin's eyes looked straight at his husband.

"Y-you risked your life for her. Did you ever think about me? About Woonie?"

Jungkook felt guilty. He couldn't bear to see the tears coming from Jimin's eyes. He just lowered his face, looking at his lap.

"Look at me." Jimin's voice sounds angry. He gave Jungkook a stern look. "Look at me! Do you want to talk? Talk!"

Jimin pushed his wheelchair in front of Jungkook.

"I'm sorry. I have no intention of making you worry."

Finally, Jungkook raised his head, and his eyes met Jimin's. Two different kinds of looks were exchanged: one conveyed a sad and pleading expression, while the other expressed anger.

However, when Jimin saw Jungkook's gloomy face, he softened. He hated making Jungkook sad and despised causing him any pain.

"I'm... really worried."

Jimin once doubted Jungkook's love and loyalty, but his heart is always on Jungkook's side. His heart loves Jungkook too much.

"I'm sorry..."

"I'm tired."

"Jimin..."

"I'm sleepy..."

Jimin moved his body. He used both hands to get up from the wheelchair. Jin quickly helped Jimin. When Jimin was placed on the couch next to Jungkook, he put his head on Jungkook's lap. His face snuggled against Jungkook's stomach. Both of his hands hugged his husband's waist. He cried, and his tears wet Jungkook's clothes. Jimin was sobbing in pain.

"I thought that you would leave me..."

"Baby, I will always come back to you and Woonie. I love you."

"Kookie..."

"That is my promise."

There are two things that Jungkook always remembers: a promise and love.

"I remember..."

Jimin looked at Jungkook, waiting for him to continue.

"The letter..."

"Oh my God..."

"I remember everything: the private beach, the accident, the promise..."

Jimin's hand flew to his mouth, muffling an involuntary gasp.

"Don't leave me..."

"I won't."

A promise he made to the person he loved. A promise he will hold to the end of his life, as well as his love for his husband and son.

These things make him become Jeon Jungkook, husband of Park Jimin and father of Jeon Jinwoo.
