Marina Tsukishima: You looking for a Job?
(Y/N) didn't even know how to answer the text at first, although he was more in shock that Marina texted him at all. He hasn't seen Marina for years, the last time he's seen her was when (Y/N) was like 12 years old and she was still in high school herself, (Y/N) actually had a small crush on her back then too. He thought about his response but one of the better traits (Y/N) possesses was his cautiousness, he wasn't going to accept Marina's offer straight out the gate without knowing what he was getting into. (Y/N) didn't desperately need money but then again he wouldn't mind having a little extra pocket money, but maybe this can be a good opportunity to better himself or something like that. (Y/N) turned on his phone and answered her text:
(Y/N): Kinda weird for you to just text me out of the blue, not even a hello lol
Marina Tsukishima: Hello
(Y/N): How did you even get my number?
Marina Tsukishima: I asked your Mom, actually she even suggested that I offer you a job
(Y/N): Where do you even work? And clearly your a manager or something if you have the authority to offer me a job
Marina Tsukishima: The owner left me in charge of the business, I work at a Live House... I'm assuming you know what a Live House is?
(Y/N): It's a place for bands to practice and preform, your a manager of a live house? Which one?
Marina Tsukishima: It's called CiRCLE
(Y/N): Can I at least do a interview?
Marina Tsukishima: Sure, here's the address... see you in a little bit
(Y/N): Sure, see you in a bit
(Y/N) checked the address and sighed, he wondered what this job entails and how it's gonna work out. He's never worked a part time job before despite being 18 already, but since Marina offered it to him at the suggestion of his mother it couldn't be that could It? (Y/N) thought about the name of the Live House and the name "CiRCLE" seemed familiar but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. He shrugged and searched up the Live House on the internet, it's located in Kita not too faraway from two prominent all girls schools; Hanasakigawa and Haneoka. The Live House also has a cafe attached to it plus a shop to purchase singles and albums of the bands that preform there, in addition the Live House is fairly popular with many 4-5 star reviews. (Y/N) still wasn't sure if he wanted to work there but he thought he should at least do the interview out of courtesy. He mapped out the route and made his way to the location.
After about a 15 minute walk from Yamabuki Bakery (Y/N) now saw CiRCLE in view, it looked rather neat with a nice patio and cafe and the building itself was rather nice however he can see little cracks on the roof and on the walls, how did that get there? He decided to pace around and take a better look at the building, the cafe served pretty standard fare but the macaroon tower seemed interesting and some of the reviews rave about the fruit tarts sold here too, the seating area was open air but looked comfortable in good weather. He then moved towards the entrance of the Live House, as he moved to open the door it swung open as a group of girls came out.
Stoic Girl: Oh, pardon me. I didn't see you there.
Flashy Girl: Yukina? What's the matter? Oh! Sorry are we in your way?
(Y/N): No it's fine, I'll let you girls clear out first
(Y/N) steps aside to let the girls exit the Live House, they bowed in apology went on their way. Not that (Y/N) wanted to but he can hear their conversations as they leave.
Small Girl: What's the hold up! Come on! I want to go home and play some NFO with Rinko! I need to release the power of the dark lord mehehehe
Shy Girl: Do all of you guys want to play too?
Serious Girl: I guess I can play for a little bit, but I need to make sure Hina is busy first...
Yukina?: I guess I'll participate~ is that cat familiar event still on?
Flashy Girl: Haha, you really love cats don't you-
Soon enough the girls were out of earshot but as (Y/N) watched the leave he made eye contact with one of the girls, he thinks her name was Yukina and she seemed to stare at him with a rather interesting expression not that he minded anyway, she definitely is a beauty. But looking at the group, they seemed familiar but once again he couldn't quite put his finger on it. He shrugged and opened the door, the front foyer was empty so he decided to have a look around, he noticed a poster of a band on one of the windows. He approached it and then saw it was Poppin Party poster and then it hit him, this was the Live House Saaya preforms at! He was in awe but also in some form of joy because he never got to watch Saaya preform since it's always sold out, maybe he can watch her preform if he works here. He then heard footsteps enter the room.
Marina: Hello (Y/N), it's nice to see you again. Did you get taller?
This was the first time (Y/N) has seen Marina in person in over 5 years, she's grown up into quite the lovely lady... what? I'm allowed to have an opinion!
(Y/N): Yeah, I got a little taller... it's been a while Marina
Marina: You used to call me Big Sis Marina, Mhm Hmm and your definitely got handsomer over the years eh? Got a girlfriend?
(Y/N): Ahhh no unfortunately, but maybe one day.
Marina: Fufufu~ so do you want to hear about the job?
(Y/N): Sure, at a Live House what do I do?
Marina: At a Live House you help coordinate practice session with bands, track funds from ticket sale and band taxes, serve food in the cafe, work the sound booth during concerts, and help advertise the bands and Live House through posters and ads. Here at CiRCLE we have 5 bands currently contracted with us, their all girl bands but they bring in the money to pay for repairs for their... energetic performances, I'll tell you about each of them:
Afterglow is a rock band consisting of childhood friends led by the Ran Mitake. The other members are Himari Uehara, Tsugumi Hazawa, Tomoe Edagawa, and Moca Aoba. There an close knit band, with a lot of popular but that chemistry equates to unforgettable performances.
Roselia is a gothic rock band led by Yukina Minato. The other band members are Rinko Shirokane, Ako Edagawa, Lisa Imai, and Sayo Hikawa. There a pretty serious band but that's mostly due to Yukina and Sayo's enforcement, however their performance visuals and awesome lyrics make them stand out.
Pastel*Palettes is an idol agency commissioned pop band led by Aya Maruyama. The other band members are Chisato Shirasagi, Eve Wakamiya, Hina Hikawa, and Maya Yamata. Their probably the girliest band with very vibrant performances, but their definitely one of the most hard working bands we have.
Hello! Happy World! is upbeat rock/pop band led by Kokoro Tsurumaki. The other band members are Kaoru Seta, Kanon Matsubara, Hagumi Kitazawa, and Misaki Okusawa who plays as a pink bear mascot called Michelle. Their extremely popular with children due to their upbeat and energetic performances, funnily enough their slogan is "Happy! Lucky! Smile! Yay!"
Poppin' Party is a pop band led-
(Y/N): I know who Poppin' Party is...
Marina: Okay then! Those are all of the bands currently contracted with us! They practice during the week and preform on weekends, you'll assist them with any administrative tasks for the time being. So what do you say to maybe ¥1500 an hour to start off?
(Y/N): Hold on hold on, is their anything I should be made aware of before saying yes?
Marina: Your the only other employee...
