"It is said that a flock of magpies promised to create a bridge with their wings so Orihime can see Hikoboshi once every year. But if it rains on Tanabata, it is said that the river rises and the magpies cannot form a bridge. This is called the Tears of Hikoboshi and Orihime" -Derived from the Tanabata tale

It was July 6th, the eve of the Star Festival and (Y/N) was currently at CiRCLE monitoring Poppin' Party's practice session. He was half listening to their song which he believed was Tear Drops but he was also studying the clipboard for the schedule this evening and tomorrow morning, it was the eve of Tanabata and CiRCLE was doing Tanabata themed service today and until tomorrow afternoon at 5:30pm, CiRCLE will be closed for the evening Star Festival festivities. (Y/N) reflected on the last couple years that he went to the Star Festival, he always went with Saya since his parents aren't around this time of year. He liked going with Saya since they always have fun when they both went to festivals, plus Saya looks absolutely stunning in a Yukata. (Y/N) day dreamed about Saya until he was knocked back into reality when he heard someone knocking on the plexiglass of his sound booth, and much to his surprise it was Saya. She gestured for him to come outside since they were packing up for the day, (Y/N) nodded and turned off the audio equipment and grabbed his clipboard and exited the booth.

(Y/N): You girls heading out?

Saya: Yep! We pretty have the music down and we'll be ready to preform at the Live Event after Tanabata

Saya Yamabuki, (Y/N)'s childhood friend and 2nd year at Hanasakigawa. She the drummer for Poppin' Party and runs Yamabuki Bakery with her family. Her and (Y/N) have know each other for years but know there's this odd feeling whenever they talk, neither of them can describe the strange emotion

(Y/N): I don't think we have you preforming at CiRCLE after Tanabata, did you make a sudden booking?

Tae: Oh no, we're performing in the nearby shopping district with the rest of the bands. It's a way to advertise the shopping district and open it up to more people.

Tae Hanazono, she's a 2nd year at Hanasakigawa. She's the guitarist for Poppin' Party, she's fond of rabbits and flat out gorgeous in (Y/N)'s eyes.

Rimi: We're preforming with Afterglow and Roselia, Pastel*Palettes and Hello, Happy World! will provide extra entertainment at the event.

Rimi Ushigome, she's a 1st year at Hanasakigawa. She's the bassist for Poppin' Party, she's a shy and gentle soul with a love for Yamabuki Bakery's choco cornets. She's also super cute with the "must protecc" vibe coming off of her

Arisa: We'll also be showcasing our new song at the event, I hope you'll come see us... erm! Not that we want you there or anything!

Arisa Ichigaya, she's a 2nd year at Hanasakigawa and god's definition of a tsundere. She's the keyboardist for Poppin' Party and quite frankly the person who reins in Kasumi when she goes off on one of her antics. If (Y/N) was being honest with himself, Arisa's tsundere vibe is kinda cute and she's pretty "stacked" to boot

Kasumi: I hope you can come (Y/N)! I know your a big fan of us and I know you'll love our new song!

And then there's Poppin' Party's ring leader, Kasumi Toyama. She's a 2nd year at Hanasakigawa and one of the more energetic of the group, she's the vocalist and lyric writer. Both her and her younger sister Asuka are pretty easy on the eyes.

(Y/N): Well I hope I can come see it, we'll be pretty busy here at CiRCLE after Tanabata but I'll see if Marina can give me the afternoon off that day.

Poppin' Party: Thank you for having us!

(Y/N) bowed in gratitude as he saw them off, he then cleaned up the practice room and lounge in preparation for the next practice session, however Marina will oversee that session. (Y/N) continued to work until Marina called him over, she then discussed what CiRCLE is going to do in the 35 hours. The Live House will sell limited edition Tanabata themed merchandise until about 5:30pm tomorrow evening, CiRCLE will close for the evening and (Y/N) will be free to join up with the evening festivities. Tanabata isn't necessarily a big holiday for CiRCLE in comparison to Halloween or Christmas but CiRCLE would prefer to honour local traditions nevertheless. (Y/N) sighed a form stating that he understands the new procedures. He then nodded and went back to work, it was a rather slow day and only about 5 customers came in. His phone then notified him that someone texted him, he checked it and as he expected it was Saya.

Saya: Heyo (Y/N), you want to accompany me to the evening Star Festival tomorrow?

(Y/N): You already know my answer, I'll see you tomorrow at 6:00pm? Asakusa Station?

(Y/N) and Saya often go to the Shitmachi Tanabata Festival held in the Kappabashi area, it's one of the most famous in Tokyo and its close to Ueno. It has great food and great performances, (Y/N) and Saya's favourite Tanabata combo is the Ramune and Mojayaki combo at a old family run kiosk.

Saya: Sounds good! I'll see you then!

(Y/N) smiles as he turned off his phone and continued to do his tasks. (Y/N) thought what he was going to wear that day, in modern times men don't have wear kimono/yukata so normally (Y/N) just puts on some nice clothing while Saya wears her Yukata that's supposedly passed through her family for generations. He smiled at the though of Saya wearing a yukata but then an image of her in a rather seductive looking one made him a little worked up, he erased thoughts from his mind before finishing the last of his tasks. Marina said she'll close up so (Y/N) clocked out and let Marina know he's off, he then exited CiRCLE and walked down the street towards the station... excited for tomorrow evening, a evening to look forward too.
