Tandy wasn't a writer. Atleast not by profession.she was a composer, yes. She wrote for her high school news paper in her sophomore year, yes. And when she applied for a job for Revlonń Magazine, she hoped she'd write for it and not work as Chanel's assistant, yes. All that is true but Tandy still wasn't a writer. That's why she didn't know how to react when Chanel said she would write an Article about Ashley Karter for next weeks issue.
She didn't know whether she should be excited or she should be upset. I mean it wasn't her job to write but she loves writing. Especially now that she's writing about The Ashley Karter. Yes,she knows about Ashley, I mean, who doesn't?
Ashley Karter is one of the richest people in America. He owns 3 companies and 2 industries all of which have been a big success. All Tandy knew about Ashley is that hw has money. Big Money.
Ashley stood and walked towards Tandy,"it would be a pleasure working with you, Tandy." He said, stretching his hand towards her. All Tandy could do was smile and shake his hand,"The pleasure is all mine, Mr.Karter." Ashley left with a smirk on his face.
The office was now quiet and Tandy decided to break the silence," Ms.Micheals I'm not writer, I can't"-do you know why I hired you, Tandy?" "Uhm...because...every other position in this building was taken and I needed a job?" Tandy answered Nervously, questioning herself In the process. "I know you came here with a hope you'd be a professional writer. But, you got lucky and you ended up working as my personal assistant. So, in my understanding, you are a writer." "But Ms.Micheals," "Tandy! You are to write article or you're fired!"
That shut Tandy up for good,"Victoria is already fored for that little stunt she pulled, so you're her replacement. Consider this a...promotion. o congratulations Tandy Phillips. You're a writer." Chanel said flashing a smile that almost looked fake.Tandy was still a little jittery so she just nodded and left the office .
Once Tandy had arrived home, she screamed in excitement.shske cleaned up her house, took a shower and went to bed. But she couldn't sleep. All she could think about was the article she was to write and what it was about, Ashley Karter. She had met Ashley Karter today.
Ashley had worked with Revlonń magazine before. When he had his big break and one of his industries reached it's top. He was on the cover of the magazine's 2016 volume, 2 years ago.
Finally Tandy had managed to get some sleep and woke up at 6:30Am the next day.
********
Ashley had a pretty organised life. He woke up at 5:30Am every morning, went for a jog, took a shower, and went for work at 7:30Am. He owned 3 successful companies under two very successful industries. Even though he wouldn't admit it, life was god for him. It's only his love life that was such a mess. The women that dated him were only after his money.
When Ashley met Andrea, things changed. Well atleast that's what he thought. Ashley was convinced that Andrea was the one, considering she had her own money being one of the world's biggest fashion icons. But turns out Andrea wasn't quite satisfied. She only married Ashley for his status.
"I'd get richer and more famous in an instant." Andrea told herself, "plus he's quite handsome it's a win win."
Ashley and Andrea were only married or a year and about a week ago, Andrea demanded for a divorce. Then it became clear to Ashley why Andrea married him.
Ashley doesn't really trust women anymore and for one thing, he doesn't really believe in love anymore.

Ashley had woke up that morning and did what he always does every morning. Jogged, showered, ate breakfast and left. But he wasn't going for work this morning. He was heading to the Revlonń building where he was to be interviewed by the one and only, Tandy Phillips.
Ashley walked into the Revlonń building and just like yesterday, Everyone greeted him with a stare of amazement. And just like yesterday, he ignored them. He walked straight to the elevator and was on his way to Tandy's office. Realizing he doesn't know where that is, he went to Chanel's office instead.
Tandy had arrived at work early that day. Chanel had left instructions with Mia to show Tandu where her office was. Tandu still couldn't believe it. She was now officially a writer, and in the process of writing her first article about the Ashley karter.
Tandy had arrived on the 5th floor of the building where her office is. She entered the office and scanned the room from top to bottom. A smile plastered across her face, realizing this is where she'll work from now on.
The room wasn't too big but was similar to Chanel's office. Glass walls, an office desk and a couch by the wall.the room as bright as the day itself. It wasn't really much but it was better than attending Chanel's every need 24/7. The time was now 7:50Am and Tandy was done settling in.
Mia stood at the door and smiled, "Wow. big day, huh." "Don't tease, Mia," Tandy grinned,"huge day!" A short silence came into the room, "hey, aren't you supposed to be handling the front desk?" "Please, I'm on my break." Mia said confidently. "At 07 in the morning?" They both laughed, "okay, fine. I just wanted to check on Revlonń's newest writer." She smiled. "Bye Mia." Tandy said as Mia left her new office.
Tandy was sitting behind her desk and smiled once more. It's good to be home. As Tandy began to analyse her items, she realised that she doesn't have her recorder, which she needed considering she was about to interview Ashley. She quickly got out of her office and went back down to her car.
Ashley had arrived at Chanel's office but unfortunately, Chanel wasn't in." Uhm, excuse me?" Ashley said, stopping a young lady in her path, "do you know where..." he paused realizing Tandy just got in and the news hasn't spread yet, "Victoria Tristen's office is?" "Yes. Right this way, Mr.Karter." the lady said taking him to the elevator.
They descended to the 5th floor." The second door to your right." She directed him. "Thank you." Ashley walked to the door which now had Tandy's name on it. He had to admit, it's a beautiful name. And it belongs to a beautiful person. He entered the empty office awaiting his interviewer.
It didn't take too long for Tandy to get her recorder, but to her surprise, Ashley was already in her office. Ashley stared at Tandy intensely, scanning her from head to toe. He hadn't realized just how beautiful Tandy really is. She had fair skin and hazel eyes which were now covered by her round spectacles. Plus she had a gorgeous smile.
Ashley continued to stare. He couldn't help himself. Tandy walked passed him and sat behind her desk. "Is there anything wrong Mr.Karter?" Tandy asked confidently. Realizing that he was still staring, Ashley smirked, "your glasses. They look..." he paused, staring as of to find the right word. "What's wrong? They don't look..."Tandy paused, refusing to finish her sentence as she took her glasses off and looked down.
"No. No. You look better with them. You look great either way." Tandy smiled, putting her glasses back on. Tandy picked up a notebook and a pen from her desk, along with her recorder and went to sit on the couch.
She opened the notebook to the questions she prepared and the recorder was placed inbetween the book, turned on. Then she began to question Ashley.
I don't know much about magazine companies so my sister helped me out with this chapter. I don't even know if I did a good job with my research, all I know is that I did a whole lot of it for this whole book...
