Chapter 4

*authours notes*

Okay so important note. I didn't want to make these people this old but they are 16-17. Beth and Chase are 16. Madi and hayes are 17.

Madi and hayes have been going out for 2 years and same with Beth and Chase.

They have all been friends for 3 years.

Beth moved from Britain to North Carolina 3 years ago.

Hayes has been famous for 4 years now.

*recall*

Hayes is standing at the bottom of the bed on his phone.

This is the perfect chance.

I stand on the bed and walk over to him.

I get close to him.

*Beth's POV*

I wrap my arms around his neck.

I then jump up on his back and wrap my legs around his broad hips.

"Aye! what you doing?" hayes screams in surprise.

"Your giving me a piggy back ride to the kitchen." I say as if it was the most obvious thing.

He turns his head to look at me. He has a huge smile on my face.

Before I knew it he was running around the house to the kitchen.

He took me by surprise. he kept almost dropping me.

I buried my head into his neck.

I was laughing so much and I could hear hayes laughing a little too.

Once we are in the kitchen Hayes sits me down at the table.

"So your highness, what shall it be?" hayes says trying to sound posh.

I just play along.

"Mmm well I would like my tea and crumpets."

"Well sorry all I have to offer you is a bowl of 'fruity pebbles' and a glass of fresh apple jucie." hayes says kind of breaking the act.

"Sound perfect" I smile.

Me and hayes grab our cereal and head over to the sofa.

Hayes has the remote.

I was eating my cereal as I watch him pick 'cod ghost' I love this game. I'm amazing.

We eat our cereal quickly waiting for it to load.

*Madi's POV*

Chase and I have just been out for lunch at a little caffe a few miles away from the cabin.

We're now driving back in his truck.

He keeps asking me questions about hayes.

"So how are you and hayes doing?"

"Well we had a fight last night!" I say getting upset thinking about it.
"What about you and Beth?"

"We're doing okay but Beth's not been acting herself recently" he said looking concerned.

He's such a good boyfriend to Beth, he is aways there for her. You can tell he'll do anything for her no matter what.

Chase kept looking at me, I think he could tell I was upset.

I noticed he was pulling his truck over to the side of the road.

He put his hand on my thigh and looked at me "Madi, you can tell me if anything bad is happening with you and Hayes."
"I'm here for you." he continued still looking deep in my eyes.

I just nodded.

I bit my lip and I don't know why.

I put my head down. But I soon felt Chase's hand under my chin lifting my head so I was looking at him in the eyes.

I leaned in close to him and bumped lips.

Our lips connected.

He didn't pull away so he must want it too.

His hand is on my jaw and the other one sliding down my ribs to my waist.

I run my fingers through his soft hair and he pulls me closer to him.

My thigh is right up on the gear stick so I pull away because it was hurting.

He just sits there looking at me.

He leans in again but I stop him.

I look down. I know what we just did was wrong but it felt so right.

I felt so safe in his arms and that kiss... wow that kiss it was amazing.

Chase put his hand on my shoulder. "don't worry we don't have to tell them just now."

I nodded with and unsure smile.

Chase drove off, up back to the cabin.
