Taking it to the next level

Chapter 5

When me and Chase got back home, I hear hayes and Beth shouting.

They're probably fighting because Hayes picks a fight with anyone and everyone.

I walked to the front door swiftly ignoring Chase.

I opened the door peeping my head in.

I saw hayes and Beth cuddled under a blanket playing the PS.

Oh I get it they were shouting at the tv.

I walk over to them.

*Beth's POV*

I saw Madi walk in the door and over to us so I pause the game.

"Hey what you doing!" Hayes shouted not even noticing Madi and Chase are home.

"Mmm...Madi and Chase are here." I say as I put my hand on Hayes' jaw and direct it to them.

"Oh!" he says as he looks back at me.

Madi and Chase seem really awkward.

I wonder why?

"So where did You's go?" hayes asks.

"Oh just a place a few miles away for breakfast." Chase says quietly back, looking at the floor.

They both walk off with out saying anything.

"Hayes, let's go follow them and pretend were spy's" I wisper in his ear then grab his hand and drag him off the sofa.

He smiles a mischievous smile and laughs a bit.

I put my finger to my mouth indicating him to be quiet.

We tiptoe over to where we saw Chase and Madi go.

I peeped my head round the corner making sure the coast is clear.

As I do this I saw Chase leaning against the wall sucking madi's face off.

My stomach dropped and I let out a small squeal. I fell down on my hands and knees.

"Beth what happened?" hayes whispers to me worried.

"L-look" I whisper. I found it hard to get any words out.

Hayes looked around the corner. by this time Madi's leg was making her way up Chases's and Chase's hand was up Madi's shirt.

I looked up and saw hayes' eyes widen.

Before I could get back up to him he had already stormed off up to Chase.

*Hayes' POV*

I have just looked around the corner to see my girlfriend and my best friend making out.

I walk over to chase and Madi. "what do you guys think your doing?"
"What the Fuck"
"How could you guys do this?"
"How long has this even been going in for?"
"Why?" all these questions slipped out as I was waking over to them.

Chase and Madi jumped back from each other and stood up like nothing was happening.

Chase came over to me and put his hand on my chest.
"Calm down, dude!"

I moved my body so his hand wasn't on me any more.

"Calm down! calm down!" I repeated Chase's words.
"You expect me to be calm" I say getting exasperated.

Beth walks over to me and puts her hands on my shoulder blades.

As I feel her gentle hands on me my vision starts to blur. I realised I was more upset them I thought I was.

I quickly turn round to Beth and wrap my arms around her.

I feel like I'm falling but then Beth pulls me close and I feel safer.

I start sobbing into her hair.

After 10 seconds I pull away from Beth and look at her. I notice she's been crying too.

I wipe my face and walk away into my room.

I fall onto my bed.

I soon hear someone open the door behind me.

"Go away!" I sob quietly but loud enough for them to hear.

They don't reply, they just come over and sit on the bed beside me.

I hear them softly weeping.

I look up and see it was Beth.

I quickly put my arms around her and pull her down with me, so were just lying there in each other's arms crying.

I can't even imagine how heart broken she is right now. Her and Chase have such a strong relationship.

I soon realise Beth has stopped crying so I look down and see she's fast asleep lying on my chest.

I just lie here playing with Beth's hair and thinking about with I'm going to do and what I can do to help Beth get through this.

I soon start to feel my eyes getting heavier. then soon I'm fast asleep with my arms still warped around Beth.
