Annabeth POV

I was very excited today! Finally, I would go back to New York I will be able to find Percy!! I haven't seen him for over 2 years, I was forced to leave him at the age of seventeen now I'm nineteen and I'll finally get to see him again, I miss him so very much, we always texted in secret but never called we only sent pictures and texted because I knew my  parents wouldn't be happy if I was talking to a guy, let alone Percy

We were only 12 years old when we met, My parents had organized a party and Percy was there. I was standing on the balcony because I was upset. Helen had yelled at me before the party started because she said my dress was too ugly and everyone will make fun of it, but I liked it. Percy came and cheered me up after that we became great friends!

Athena, Helen and Dad, didn't like Percy the would never let me hang out with him or talk with him I hated it! I really taught Athena would at least be happy, but she just doesn't like Percy. After all, Athena doesn't get the chance to visit me, I'm sure she wants to keep me safe and take care of me...Athena will always be better than Helen.

When I was little I always imagined Percy and I to have a fairytale Love story, I was so little back then. I remember the nights were I slept in Percy's house because Helen was making me upset and I loved it at Percy's. Sally was the best mom anyone can ask for! No wonder Pery is so happy, I can tell Percy really loves Sally. I wish Helen was like Sally...

We would always do this, Percy would sneak into my garden and we would enjoy ourselves for hours at night since my family goes to bed by 10:30 and I'm forced to be in bed by 9. Even though I'm not aloud, Sally allows Percy to visit as long as he returns by 12:30, Once I went to his house at twelve and returned the next morning, I did that because I knew "my family" wouldn't care, but night was the worse. Helen had slapped me and yelled at me. She thought I was at a random club, doing things with guys. I wish I could have told her I was with Percy but she wouldn't even listen or care.

One day Helen decide to follow me and found me with Pery, she and my so-called father ran up to Percy and me, They yelled at me as Percy defended me. Tears were forming in my eyes as they continued. "Dad" yelled at Percy telling him to stay away from me for good, at that I let the tears spill. Percy frowned and looked and me than my "parents", "Percy please!" I had yelled. "You can't leave me you're my best friend! your everything to me!" I cried, Percy looked very upset, "I know Annabeth...I just, I think it's better if I go" He said as he pulled me into a hug. "Please Don't Go...I can't lose you too...I already lost my family and now you..." I whispered but loud enough for everyone to hear. I sobbed as Percy caressed my cheek. "Don't worry Annabeth, this won't be the last time we get to meet I promise!" Percy took his hoodie off and gave it to me, "Here keep it, When we meet again that's how we will find each other." Percy said giving me his favourite blue hoodie his mother had bought him. I then remembered Something Athena had given me, "Here take my necklace," I said putting the necklace on Percy, it was a necklace Athena gave me with my name on it. She said, "I might not always be with you, but this is how much I love.". I put Percy's hoodie on as we stare into our eyes, Stormy Gray and Sea-green eyes...I hope to see his beautiful eyes again someday...
