Meant To Be (Bokuto x Reader)

~ Y/N Pov ~

Today was Sunday and since Monday was teacher conferences, I got another day of school off. I assumed Akaashi was going to Bokuto's house again, when all of a sudden I received a text from the Owl himself.

My Owl

Hey Hey Hey Y/N!

                                    Hey Bokuto :)

My Owl

So Akaashi is coming over and spending the night and I was thinking you should come so we can start the project

My heart was about to burst. I was filled with so much joy knowing I could spend the night at Bokuto's house

                                    Oh sure!!

Sweet can't wait to see you!

I was smiling at my phone when Akaashi noticed.

"What are you smiling at?" He asked as he fed himself a bagel

"Oh nothing....but Bokuto told me to come over with you so we can start working on our project" I said as I smiled.

"You guys might as well just date!" He said as he rolled his eyes. "We are going to leave a 2 giving me and Bokuto time to play video games, and to give you guys time to work on the project" "and also you relationship" he mumbled as he walked back to his room.    

I tried to pretend I didn't hear what he said and walked back to my room to pack some clothes, including Bokuto's jacket.

Time Skip           

Akaashi and Bokuto had been playing video games for hours. It was 5 p.m. by the time you and Bokuto could work on the project. 

"Ok so I was think... on of the words could be; I love you more than I could ever really say."  Bokuto said while looking at you with a soft smile.

"Yeah I think that's a good one" I said as I blushed and wrote it down. 

It's about 10:30 and we have 9 words of love and we need 10. 

"I think we should go to sleep" Bokuto yawned.

Akaashi was already sleep so Bokuto whispered.

"You can sleep in my room and I'll sleep on the couch in my room" Bokuto said softly

"Okay thank you" I said with a blush.

I put on my comfortable clothes and got in Bokuto's bed. It even smells like him you thought. It was storming outside and I didn't do to well with loud sounds. It was hard for me to go to sleep as I just laid there. A loud bang sound was made from the lighting and thunder and I jumped up to sit up on the bed. Akaashi and Bokuto were still sleep though. I got out of his bed and went downstairs to the kitchen to get some water. As I was filling my cup up, I felt a warm body press against me with their hands wrapped around my waist and his head resting on my neck.

"Y/N are ok? I heard you make a sound from the storm, and woke up to find you missing" Bokuto said still in the same position.

"I'm fine Bokuto, I just couldn't fall asleep because of the storm" I said while a grin on my face.
