Since the lunch break is finally over, Hokuto and Shogo went back to their classroom to get their bags. They will stay at the East Wing of the school since it is the Twin Princes' territory. The North Wing is occupied by Itsuki while the South Wing is occupied by Riku. The West Wing belongs to Kazuma and the top floor belongs to the Student Council.
The Princes also have different uniforms. Kazuma got the crossed black and grey uniform with his personalized crest, two wolves with their backs touching each other. Itsuki got the dark blue uniform with two swords and aegis for his crest while Riku got the dark red uniform and an archer with bow and arrows for his crest. Shogo and Yamasho got the brown uniform with a phoenix for their crest. The Student Council got the white uniform with the school's crest, same as the ordinary students but they are only wearing plain black uniforms.
Hokuto chose to wear the plain black uniform even though Shogo gave him a pair of their uniform. He is just keeping it inside his locker because he doesn't even consider himself as one of them.
"Who sent these roses here?" Shogo asked when they arrived at their room at the East Wing. The two saw the large bouquet of white and red roses on the table.
"Who else?" Yamasho, who is busy doing digital arts on his laptop, answered him with another question and Hokuto got the white envelope stuck between the roses.
"It's from Itsuki." He opened the envelope and read the letter inside. He groaned softly after reading the contents.
"What did he say?" Shogo tried to peek at what the letter said but he quickly hid it inside his pocket and carried the roses in his arms to smell it.
He smiled softly while playing with the petals and after a while, Takahide and Ryu arrived from the cafeteria. A staff member is following them with a food cart.
"Let's have some tea while eating some truffles and eclairs from Hoku-chan's suitors." Shogo said and took his seat on the couch as the staff placed the silver tray with porcelain teapot and teacups on the table.
"Those two don't really stop from chasing Hoku-chan." Ryu said and got a cup of ginger lemon tea that the staff served for them.
"They will eventually stop when they get tired. I will not choose anyone after all. Can you please put these roses in a vase? I don't want them to wilt fast." He said to the staff and gave the bouquet to her.
"Would you like to display these in the hallway? There will be two vases for each side of the door in the hallway." He smiled at the idea of the staff and nodded his head.
"That would be better. It will be nice if I'm not the only one who will appreciate the beauty of these roses. Make sure to put some plant food in the water, so that it will last longer." He added and the staff left already with the bouquet.
He looked at Shogo and saw that grin on his face. He shrugged his shoulders while staring at the red rose he took from the bouquet. He smelled it once again and smiled softly.
"Are you sure you want to reject Itsuki? He might be a devil but it looks like you're the only one who can tame him." Shogo opened the boxes of truffles and eclairs and he started to eat.
"I don't want to fall in love. It will just give me heartbreaks." He mumbled and placed down the red rose beside his bag.
"Hoku-chan, what happened between you and Fuju, it is nothing anymore. Unless you are not yet moved on." He heaved a sigh and shook his head. He got his bag again and the red rose.
"I'll go to the library for a while. Leave some truffles and eclairs for me." He pointed at the boxes and left already to go to the library which is located at the North Wing.
When he arrived at the North Wing, the students around started to talk about him. He just ignored it and went inside the library. He looked for a vacant seat and chose the one near the windows.
He loves staying at the library because it is quiet and he can have a peaceful life. Not until Itsuki will go there to bother him. He took his seat beside the window and opened his bag to get his notebook which is also his diary.
He flipped the pages and plucked some petals from the rose to press it between the pages. He was busy doing his thing when Itsuki took a seat beside him. He almost screamed in surprise but Itsuki quickly covered his mouth with his palm and shushed him.
"This is a library." Itsuki whispered and he looked around, seeing the librarian and students looking at them. He shoved Itsuki's hand away from his mouth and bowed his head slightly at them.
"If you didn't appear, I would not be surprised." He whispered angrily and he closed his notebook to put it back inside his bag.
"Did you like the roses?" Itsuki asked and reached for his hair to caress it gently. He glared at him but this didn't stop Itsuki from caressing his hair.
"I don't like it." He mumbled but Itsuki smiled at him. His eyes widened when he felt a kiss on his forehead.
"You don't like it but you got one and pressed the petals between the pages of your notebook." It took him some time before he could push him away. His heart is beating so fast and he can't accept the fact that Itsuki can make him feel like this.
"You're so annoying." He muttered and got up from his seat to go to the shelves and look for a book to read.
He went to the Fiction Section and wandered his eyes on the titles. He is not really into reading but a book caught his attention but it is on the topmost row of the shelf.
"Sherlock Holmes. It is good. Do you know that we are like Sherlock Holmes and Irene Adler? Even though Irene is sometimes salty to Sherlock, the man still loves her. Even though you're always telling me that I'm annoying, I still love you." Itsuki got the book he is trying to reach and gave it to him with a smile.
He realized that Itsuki was too close and his back was already touching the shelf. He hugged the book on his chest and looked away, making sure that Itsuki would not notice that he was flustered but the taller one held his chin and pressed his lips against his.
