Itsuki opened his eyes when he felt his phone vibrating. He looked for it through the sheets but it was Hokuto who got it. The sun is already up and the sunlight is blinding them. He got the phone from Hokuto and answered the call, putting it on loudspeaker mode.
"Where are you?! Where did you bring Hokuto?!" It is Shogo. Hokuto furrowed his brows and slowly opened his eyes.
"I'm fine, Shogo. Why are you shouting so early in the morning?" He sat up on the bed and stretched his arms up, feeling Itsuki's arm around his waist.
"Hoku-chan! It's already ten in the morning! Where are you?! Are you going to school?!" He turned off the loudspeaker and talked to Shogo himself.
"I will not. It's Friday. Can't I skip classes today?" He asked and Shogo finally calmed down.
The two talked for a while before he ended the call. On the other side, Shogo realized that it was Itsuki's phone that he called and not Hokuto's. Riku is currently with him and he already knew what happened.
"Hokuto chose him. What should I do now?" Riku heaved a sigh and smiled faintly. Shogo looked at him with pity but he knows that Riku doesn't need his pity.
"If he is really happy with Itsuki, we can't do anything about it." Riku heaved another sigh but Yamasho suddenly barged into the room.
Yamasho is supposed to be outside and doing some things but he rushed to the office to share some news to them. The two looked at him with curiosity and without further ado, Yamasho showed the news to them.
"What is this?!" They stared at the phone screen and they can't be wrong with this one since it is on the national television and newspapers.

"Hoku-chan." Shogo knocked on Hokuto's bedroom but it looks like his best friend doesn't have any plans to get out of his room.
"Hoku-chan, let's go to school, please? Let's attend the music night. Riku and the others will be there." He tried to console him but he failed.
"Auntie, do you have any spare keys?" He asked Hokuto's mother and she nodded. He got the spare key and quickly opened the door.
"Hokuto." He called for him once more and saw him just standing near the windows, staring outside.
Shogo doesn't like this. Hokuto was like that when he broke up with Fuju. When he turned him around, he saw how lifeless his eyes were. It may be puffy and swollen but it seems like Hokuto already lost his emotions. He saw the ring on his finger and he took it off.
"You don't need this." He gripped on the ring tightly and hid it inside his pocket.
"You don't need him. Hokuto! You don't need him!" Tears formed in his eyes as he kept on convincing him that everything would be fine without Itsuki.
"Let's attend the music night, please. I promise that you will not see him." Hokuto slowly nodded his head and hugged him weakly.
He doesn't want to break down once more but when Shogo hugged him back, he felt relieved that there is still someone who will stay with him until the end.
It's already seven in the evening and the music night will start at eight. Hokuto took a quick warm shower and fixed himself before going to the school.
As promised, Shogo made sure that he would not see Itsuki that night. He asked Yamasho if Itsuki was around and he answered no. Only him, Yamasho and Riku are the ones who know that Hokuto chose Itsuki. The rest still don't have any idea what happened between the two but they already knew the news about Itsuki.
