Prince vs. Prince.

xx. ʀᴏʏᴀʟ ᴜɴɪᴠᴇʀsɪᴛʏ.

Riku carefully laid Himeko down in his bed. He already sent a message to Himeko's parents that she will stay with him tonight. She fell asleep while they were on their way back home.

When she woke up, she was already in the tub with Riku. Her body is already relaxing as they are having a warm bath. She felt a kiss on top of her head and she looked at him, smiling sweetly. She kept her head resting on his chest while sitting between his legs.

"What do you want to eat for dinner?" He asked but when he looked at her, she was asleep once again. He smiled widely and placed another kiss on top of her head.

A few weeks have passed and Himeko is on her way to the hospital. It is her monthly check up. Lately, she is bleeding but she found it weird because her monthly period is irregular. She thought it was just because of the first time she made love with Riku but she bled again after a week.

"You will have a hard time getting pregnant." That's what her doctor said. She knows that she is still young to think of having a child with Riku but she wants to get married to him.

As a woman, having a child is one of the greatest blessings that can happen. She placed her hand on her abdomen and slowly caressed it. Though she knows that there are some treatments to have a child, she still wants to have one naturally.

"My uterus.. it is healthy, desho? I can still have a child even if it is hard?" She asked and her doctor smiled at her while nodding. She heaved a sigh and smiled faintly.

Her doctor gave her some reminders on how she will keep her body healthy. Her doctor prescribed some supplements but she asked for some alternatives because she doesn't like taking medicines.

When she arrived home from the hospital, she saw Riku waiting for her in the living room. She smiled at him and received a hug and kiss. Riku saw the large brown envelope she was holding, so he asked her what it was.

"Just my check up results. The doctor said I'm healthy." She smiled widely and went straight to her room. Riku found it weird. He sensed that she was hiding something.

Himeko heaved a sigh as she arrived at her room. She quickly closed the door behind her and leaned there. She doesn't have the courage to tell Riku that she will have a hard time getting pregnant. What if he suddenly leaves her because of that? She waited for years before she could finally get engaged to him. She can't let him leave her.

"Hime?" Riku knocked on the door and she immediately hid the results in her drawer. She opened the door and looked at him with raised brows.

"Doushitano?" She asked and let him walk inside. Riku closed the door as she started changing clothes.

"Perhaps, you want to tell me something?" He asked and she stopped for a while. She shook her head and continued on taking her dress off.

"Nothing. Nande? Are you worried about me?" She chuckled softly and went inside her walk-in closet to take another dress to wear.

"Of course, I'm worried about you. You didn't even show me your check up results." Riku followed her inside the walk-in closet and closed the door.

"Will you still stay with me if I will not be able to give you a child?" She has her back facing him, so he can't see her tears falling down from her eyes.

"What? What do you mean by that, Himeko?" He furrowed his brows and gently turned her around. He saw her crying and he quickly hugged her tightly.

"My doctor said I will have a hard time getting pregnant." She said between her sobs and she hugged him back, gripping on his shirt tightly.

"We can try and try again, desho? We are only in high school. We have lots of time to try." He cupped her cheeks and wiped her tears. She slowly nodded her head and tried to convince herself that everything will be fine soon.

Himeko made herself busy by attending the classes in the morning. The school year is about to end soon and it will be Riku's last year in high school already. Once they graduate, the system for the Princes will be changed due to the next Princes.

They still don't know who will be the qualified candidates for the next Princes. There are four groups, so there will also be four new Princes and it will be their decision if they will change everything that the current Princes established.

All of them are gathered at Kazuma's office this time. They are talking about if they will all enroll in Royal University when they graduate or if they will have their university years in other countries.

"Isn't it better if we will all spend our remaining studying years in Royal University? I mean, our parents graduated there." Shogo said and some of them agreed.

"It is an international school after all. Does anyone have a plan on studying in another country?" Likiya asked and Kazuma and Makoto raised their hands.

"We will go to a fashion school." Kazuma answered and then, a few more raised their hands and told where they were planning to study.

"Most of us will study in other countries, ne." Hokuto mumbled while they were walking back to Itsuki's office. Itsuki wrapped his arm around his shoulders and placed a kiss on his temples.

"They will still be back here when they finish studying there." He nodded his head since he decided to stay there in Japan because of his mother.

He knows that he will need to help her mother with the company. Itsuki also decided to stay because he is the only son of his parents and the only one who will inherit their company. He heaved a sigh, knowing that he will miss those moments that they are complete. Even though they still have another year to get together as usual, they know that the time will come when they need to part ways temporarily and pursue their dreams.

Time flies fast and it is already their last year in Royal High. Everyone became busy when their parents started to give them work that concerns their companies. As much as possible, they are still having lunch all together and whenever there is a birthday party, all of them will attend it.

The search for the next Princes started already and a few have been nominated. The qualifications have been posted and it will be decided by their family backgrounds. Those who are nominated are the ones who have plans on studying there. In short, starting the first day of their study in Royal High, they are automatically Princes already.

"It will be Yamasho's birthday soon, desho?" Hokuto asked and Itsuki nodded his head without looking at him since he was busy reading some papers.

"Let's buy some gifts for him later?" He asked once again and Itsuki hummed softly as his response.

"What should we buy?" Itsuki finally asked and both of them started thinking about what they should buy later after school.
