As Lex dismmised his secretary from his office, Clark came storming in- like always. "Hey Clark, you should really learn to knock someday." said Lex.
"To busy to knock." Clark said briefly and urgently. "Of course you are," replied Lex. "What seems to be your problem?"
"Lana. Why did she come to see you last night?"
"Because Clark; she's a good friend of mine. Am I not allowed to help friends out?" he asked.
"If she needed help, she would've come to me. What did she want?" He was straight to the point. Not chit chat. Lex sighed in annoyance. "Clark, she wanted help with you-" he paused. Was he supposed to keep his conversations with Lana private? Clark looked puzzled-" What?" he decided to just continue. "She's sick of you ditching her and standing her up at dates. I think without realised it, you're slowly making tiny problems in the world more important than her." There was a silence.
"Whatever Lex, you're just jealous of what me and her have. I see the way you look at her. I came to tell you to stop it and find a new girl to hook up with and never call back!" yelled Clark incredulously. As he strode away with rage, Lex began to fume. How dare he assume he would treat Lana poorly? He would make her his muber one priority at all times."Security, escort Clark off the premises."
