Tubbo stared at the person before him. "Are you..?"

He smiled more, "My name is Dream."

"Dream..." Tubbo nodded. "You're welcome.. but what am I going to do?"

"Take care of your blonde friend. I can take care of the other one." Dream explained.

Tubbo's mind screamed at him to stop. Deep down, he wanted to run to Tommy and Wilbur but he didn't. He stood up, holding onto his sword.

"Tubbo!" He heard Tommy calling for him. Tubbo glared in the direction of where he heard them.

Tubbo hid behind the tree, noticing that Tommy was alone. He giggled lowly, and jumped at Tommy.

Tommy screamed as he stumbled back, Tubbo got his arm pretty badly. "Tubbo, don't!" He shouted, trying to stop his friend.

Tubbo's grip on the sword tightened, "No." He growled, "Shut up, Tommy." He said, slashing at Tommy again.

"No, Tubbo you have to listen!" Tommy pleaded.

Wilbur limped over, "Tubbo, please!" He called out.

Tubbo couldn't think clearly anymore. The only thing on his mind was murder. Tubbo lunged at Tommy again. Tommy managed to jump out of the way, causing Tubbo to lose his footing.

Tubbo fell to the ground with a thud. He winded himself and took a moment to catch his breath.

"Get up, Tubbo." Dream said to him.

Tubbo shakily got to his feet, his entire body yelling at him to stop. Tubbo didn't listen, he only needed to listen to Dream.

Tommy grabbed Tubbo from behind, "Calm down, buddy."

"Let go!" Tubbo screamed, kicking his legs crazily and trying to escape Tommy's grasp.

Timmy didn't let go, until a massive force hit him and sent him to the ground. Tommy gasped for air.

Tubbo opened his eyes and saw Dream standing in front of him. He reached his hand out, and Tubbo took it.

Dream helped Tubbo get to his feet, "Get the mask and go."

Tubbo rushed to the broken mask, collecting the pieces. He didn't look to see what the others were doing, he broke into a run.

He could hear Tommy and Wilbur calling for him, but Tubbo kept running. He didn't realize until it was too late, but his foot slipped, and he fell into the same sink hole from the other day.

Tubbo closed his eyes tightly, waiting to hit the ground but someone caught him. Tubbo looked up to see that Dream had grabbed onto his hand. "Are you okay, Tubbo?"

"I'm okay..." Tubbo nodded, pulling himself up from the hole.

"Good. Keep running."

Tubbo sighed, forcing himself to get as far away as possible. Only a few minutes passed, and Tubbo couldn't go anymore. He collapsed onto the ground, "I can't... keep going..."

"That's fine. We're safe for now."

Tubbo closed his eyes, trying to catch his breath. His chest and legs burned from the running. Worry started to wash over Tubbo, "Dream, I attacked my closest friends."

Dream narrowed his eyes, "Put the mask back together, Tubbo. This didn't go as planned."

"How do I—" Tubbo grabbed the pieces, and they somehow mended together. "What? How did that..." Tubbo looked around, "Dream?"

"I'm too weak in this current state. All I need you to do is stay clear of Timmy and William."

"Tommy and Wilbur?" Tubbo tilted his head.

"Sure."

Tubbo closed his eyes again, putting the mask back on. A sense of relief washed over him when it was back on him.

His eyes shot open when he heard more footsteps, without thinking, Tubbo grabbed his sword and climbed up a tree.

He kept quiet on the branch, watching Tommy and Wilbur walk by, not knowing Tubbo was there.
