"Jimmy... I'm so sorry from your loss... She was one of my best friends... The worlds not going to be the same without her." Shawn said in tears. Jimmy looked down at the little brown eyes that were staring back at him. he looked around the room. He was surrounded by Shawn and Andrew Leblanc, and his little girl in the corner coloring.
"I'm sorry Sir... There was nothing else we could do to save her... But your son has a clean bill of health." The doctor said. Jimmy couldn't say anything he just slowly nodded his head and sat down on the chair. He handed the little baby to Shawn and but his head in his hands. Shawn was coming to the end of her pregnancy of her little girl. They were planning on raising the little ones together. She couldn't say anything. She just rocked the baby back and forth as tears formed in her eyes. Andrew sat down with Jimmy and talked to him quietly as well as smoothly. Shawn whipped the tears from her eyes and walked over to the little girl in the corner coloring a pony. "Sofie dear... What are you doing?" Shawn said. "I-i-i singing" Shawn sweetly smiled at the little girl. She hugged her and kissed her head that was full of brown curly hair. She was only two years old and now she was motherless. How are you supposed to explain to this sweet little girl that her mothers not coming home. Andrew finally got Jimmy to calm down and he was now able to speak. "Jimmy... Whats the little boys name?" Andrew asked. Jimmy walked over to shawn and held the little Boy in his arms. "H-h-his... Mother wanted to name him... Hayden.." he answered on the line of breaking down again.
Shawn and Andrew drove the Summeralls home and made sure they were settled. Shawn showed him how to prepare Hayden's bottle and wrap him up for bed. Shawn put Sofie down and made sure everything was ready for tomorrow. "I'll be over tomorrow to help with the kids. Don't worry we are here to help you get stable and settle into being a parent." Shawn whispered making sure not to wake the baby sleeping softly in the next room.
"Thank you... Thank you both." Jimmy said as he waved the Leblanc's to his car. The Leblancs quietly drove home that night trying not to think of the pain the day had brought...
