My Long Time I Love You

Annie's first year of middle school

"Annie time for school hun!" Annie heard her mom yell from down the hall. She had already been up and dressed since six that morning. it was now eight o'clock. She yelled back to her mom letting Shawn know she was up and almost ready. She walked over to the mirror in the corner of her room. She had on a pair of black ripped jeans and a white windbreaker jacket with a light blue tee shirt underneath.  It was her very first day of middle school. She had gone with her mom all of last year to drop and pick up Hayden. It was finally her turn to go. She bounced down the hallway and down the stairs. She grabbed her back pack and raced her mom out the door. "Smile Annie!" he mom yelled a few feet away from her. Annie stood tall and smiled a big smile. "Your first day of school are you excited?" Annie was now buckling into the back seat. She sat there and looked out the window. "Yes mom, I'm excited to finally go to school with Hayden again. I never see him anymore since they moved out of town to that ranch." Shawn listened and felt guilty because she was so busy she hadn't been able to see the Summeralls. After Hayden had graduated from grade school the Leblancs and Summerall haven't been as close as they use to. Jimmy moved his family out to the old farm he grew up on after his parents had moved to Hawaii to retire. It was only a 20 minute drive out of Maryland and about 30 minutes away from where the Leblancs live. Shawn nodded her head making sure not to ignore Annie. Hayley sat in her car seat next to any. They pulled up to Hayley's school first. The little head of curls jumped out of the car and ran over to her friends. 

The short ride to the local middle school was short and quit. Shawn listened to the quit radio and Annie stared out the window watching buildings and people fly by. The car came to a slow stop in front of an old brick building. At the front of the building was a large grass area where kids of different ages ran around or stood around talking. Annie felt like she couldn't breathe. There were so many people and she only knew a couple people there. The building was huge compared to the grade school she went to. Her mom opened the door and helped Annie out. Annie gave her a quick hug and was off into the building. Inside was bigger than she though. In the entrance of the school was a large room with a grand stair case to the right of it. The stairs lead to the library and more class rooms. She kind of knew her way around to school but standing there it didn't seem like she did. All of the sudden there wash a push and the next thing she knew her body was hitting the floor with someone falling over her. She covered her head and laid there. She heard some hitting the floor next to her and a stream of fake cues words. The voice was to deep to be a girl so she knew it was a guy. 

She slowly uncovered her head and opened her eyes. She looked up and there were a circle of heads looking down at her. She has seen a couple of them from two years ago. She was in there class. She looked as one of the girls was telling people to go away and another pulling her off the floor. "The names Jayden. you ok?" Annie looked a girl around her age with blonde hair and a sweet smile. "Um yeah I'm fine thanks." she looked around her and saw a small group of guys laughing together. She watched as the body who and fallen over her was slowly getting off the ground. The boy looked very familiar. And then she heard his laugh. She knew that laugh as well as she knew how to spell her own name. She looked at the girls and nodded to whatever they were saying and she turned around when they were distracted. She ran over to the curly head boy and hugged him tightly. "Wow what are you doing!?" they boy yelled in response. his hands were up in the air and his head facing his friends. He finally looked down and saw the short brown haired girl hugging him. She finally looked up and their eyes meet. "ANNIE!" Hayden yelled and hugged her tightly. "I feel like I haven't seen you for so long!" Hayden said hugging her tightly. Annie giggled and then the separated. Hayden introduced her to his friends including the two girls she was once talking to. She found out that the brown hairs girl was named Kenzie. There ware two guys too. One had curly brown hair and his name was Armani. And a tall blond hair guy was Johnny. Hayden knew Johnny and Armani from their first year of middle school. And Jayden and Kenzie he meet when he went to his dads work dinner.

Annie didn't know it them. But the two girls standing in front of her would be the girls who stood by her for the rest of her life.
