Hello Again Everyone! Happy New Year! Seeing as I haven't updated in forever, my new year's resolution probably should have been to be more committed to my story...unfortunately, I'm not that organized, and that resolution would have been broken already.
But I hope that yours are going better than mine, and that you can feel better by laughing at my failures to make myself a better person.
Anyway, today is a sneak peek at what's coming up in a few chapters: I thought I might make it a tad confusing and skip around, ignoring the terrible constrictions of time, and flash forward for a bit.
Happy Reading!
Disclaimer: I do NOT own the Harry Potter Series.

After 8 Days (Preview)
Draco whirled around. "What did you say?" He hissed, his darkened eyes flashing dangerously. Hermione glared evenly back at him.
"I said I hope you die and burn in hell, you heartless monster." He stalked back towards her, hands clenched in fists, as if they would fly up at any moment to strike. Despite her outward audacity, Hermione began to back up as he approached, never taking her eyes off of his until there was nowhere else to retreat. Draco pinned her to the wall, placing his hands on either side of her head, and leaned in menacingly.
"I would be a bit more careful with what you say, Princess. Some may not take as kindly to your little speeches as I do." His sadistic smirk showed slightly on his face. "And you never know when accidents can occur."
Hermione shivered unconsciously. "You wouldn't dare." She whispered hoarsely.
"Oh I may not," Draco purred, "But I'm afraid I may not be able to protect your pretty face against our little friends if you continue your act. Continue to lie and I might just invite a few over." Hermione stiffened conspicuously, and Draco laughed coldly, reveling in her sudden fear.
Hermione could feel the panic start in her stomach, and her breathing began to quicken. Looking away, she closed her eyes, and composed herself until she could talk without the fear showing in her voice. She would not be intimidated by this monster; she was Hermione Granger for Merlin's sake!
"You can't threaten me." She replied, her voice, to her surprise, even, although she refused to look at him still. He laughed hollowly.
"Call it what you want, anything to get you to obey, Princess. I'll give you 24 hours to think over what I've said, and if you decide you still don't want to cooperate, you'll go back to my aunt." His smirk widened as she didn't respond, and he retreated from his offensive stance, walking calmly to the door.
"It wasn't me. And you know it." Hermione's reply came from between clenched teeth, and she finally raised her eyes back upwards to look at Malfoy, who was opening the door leading out of her room. He looked back at her, with almost a pitying look, full of contempt.
"Sweet dreams, Princess." And the door shut, leaving Hermione in complete darkness.
