Senki smiled as she twirled in my outfit. A cute white and blue dress. A green belt and a scarf tied to it. Her hair in an updo, and face touched with light makeup.

She felt confident.
What's the occasion?
Her boyfriend, Shu is taking her on a date to watch the fireworks. It was the first time she'd watch fireworks, And it would be their first date in awhile.
She was ecstatic. “Looking good,” she turned to see Will. She smiled “And I feel better.” Will gave her, his own smile “That's great.”
“What are today's plan?” He asked leaning on the wall, he was here because he would be babysitting floof.
She placed a pair of glasses completing her look. “We'd meet up at the amusement park, then have lunch then he'll take me to the fireworks show at the next city, which is 1 and ½ hour away.” She chirped. She was really looking forward to it.
“Well don't let me stop you.” He winked as he scooped up her corgi and tilted his head forward and left.
Senki grabbed her bag and left, locking her apartment door as she decided to take a cab to the amusement park. She waited inside at the bench.
She was beautiful, as people stared at her. As she waited patiently. But...
an hour passed, he still hasn't showed up.
Those who had seen her earlier felt pity. Senki started to panic, did Shu forget? was he standing her up?
Then a text.

Can't come, Jodie asked for help on a case.
She wanted to throw her phone. They had planned this, and this was Akai's rare day off and she had to ask her boss for an off day.
She felt even more worst and frustrated, he didn't bother to say sorry, and she could see which was more important or who was more important.
She knew of course that Akai was handsome, so she didn't fault the women who stared at him, she didn't get mad when they made moves at him, because she trusted him.
She didn't want to be known as the jealous, untrusting girlfriend. If she got jealous, she knew he'd be annoyed.
She should be understanding, she should understand. But she cant.
It was like this, almost everytime.
They had to cancel plans when Akai used his day off or canceled their date for a case, or for a opportunity to bring the BO down.
