Seokjin walked inside the company and all eyes are already on him. Its not like he is not used to it, its probably because of the news about him given the spot. He cleared his thoughts as the people immadiately looks away, as he walked towards the elevator.
Just as he was about to close it, Ken came and rushed towards the elevator. Seokjin's eyes went fast on the speed he pulled up as if he was gonna tell him something.
"What are you rushing for?" Seokjin asked giving him a look.
Ken pants as the elevator closed behind him, "H-have you heard about Mr. Park leaving the company?" He said panting.
"Mr. Park left the company?!" Seokjin yelled in full shock.
Its a good thing there's only the two of them at the elevator, since it will be really embarassing. Seokjin got confused on the sudden resignment of his two seniors.
"Weird isn't it?" Ken said sighing, "He used to be my all time crush and inspiration. Now what?" He whinned.
"Aisshh stop thinking about that guy. He is an absolute playboy." Seokjin replied clicking his tongue.
He should also keep silent about the fact that Jimin hugs him everytime they meet, in reason of Ken killing him in jealousy. And he is not wrong about Jimin being a playboy at all, especially what he witnessed at the dressing room.
"I mean I would say sorry if Jimin breaks my heart." Ken giggled, causing Seokjin to make faces at him.
"Okay whatever." Seokjin rolled his eyes.
"How about you? How are you feeling now?" Ken glanced at him.
"Im totally better right now and I have thought about the replacement. I will accept it." Seokjin grinned at Ken.
Ken's face lightened up on what Seokjin have told him. He is also anticipating about Seokjin finally exposed at the television. It just suits Seokjin to be at the industry.
The elevator arrived at the chairman's office. Seokjin have thought about the offer overnight and he finally decides to take the replacement. Though he will still get a punishment for not going to work for almost a month.
Seokjin stepped forward as the elevator opened for him. Ken's destination is on the lower floor so they will part ways for now.
"Well then, good luck about it!" Ken said patting Seokjin's back.
Seokjin turned and winked at him, "Watch me." He said and leave the elevator.
Leaving the elevator, Seokjin walked towards the single door at the end of the hallway. His heart is thumping so hard he could pass away at any second. He bit his lower lip as he draw closer to the door.
He stopped his tracks when he saw Sungho getting out from the office. Seokjin waited for Sungho to notice him as he prepared his smile infront of him. As Sungho looked up, his eyes went wide in surprise as Seokjin waved at him.
"Seokjin..." Sungho called out.
"Good morning Sungho-nim." Seokjin bowed respectfully at him.
"Are you alright right now?" Sungho walked towards him.
"Yes. Im so sorry for the sudden leave." Seokjin said bowing once again.
"Are you here to accept the offer?" Sungho raised his brows at Seokjin who happily smiles and nods.
"Good luck then." Sungho smiled before leaving.
Seokjin let out a small 'thank you' and waved at Sungho taking his leave towards the elevator. He took a deep breathe and walks closer to the chairman's office.
He bit his lower lip and squint his eyes as he knocks on the door. A long silence was left afterwards as it opened slowly for him. The secretary poked her head out and also got surprised on Seokjin's appearance.
It looks like she knows what Seokjin was there for and gave him a smile before opening the door wide for him, showing the chairman doing something on the table.
"Please come in, Mr. Kim." She said offering him.
Seokjin's eyes roamed around the chairman, before smiling gently. Somehow he is close with the chairman since he is the kid for the reason that he is a friend of his father.
"Chairman-nim? Mr. Kim is here." She said as Seokjin stepped inside.
The chairman stopped what he is doing and slowly looks up to Seokjin who is fidgeting. Seokjin then bows to him and greets him.
"Good Morning, chairman-nim." Seokjin said in a stern voice.
"Mr. Kim, are you somehow here to accept the offer?" The chairman asked putting his pen down.
Seokjin then pulled back and nods at him, "Yes. I will accept being the replacement." He answered, his voice full of passion.
There is a long silence at the atmosphere as the chairman just stared at him. A wholeheartedly laugh escaped the chairman's mouth as he nods and claps on Seokjin's decision.
"Alright then," The chairman said and called out his secretary.
"Yes, chairman-nim?" The secretary leaned in.
"Prepare him for tonights news." The chairman said.
