Haru stood there stupefied. Kanbe had always been cold and serious not like Haru didn't have any knowledge about it. But still Kanbe's change of tone hurt him, upset him. Kanbe's been nicer nowadays; his soothing voice had become an addicting habit.
He decided to call Suzue.
"Hello Katou sama? Is something wrong? Where's Daisuke sama? Are u two alright?" Suzue panted but soon got de accelerated by Haru.
"Suzue san!Calm down. I just called u to ask a few questions." Haru said slowly yet patiently not having confidence if she'll answer his questions correctly.
"Oh. Ofc. What is it?"
"What's Kanbe's plan? What's his purpose? U must know everything right? If yes then please tell me. It was him right? He's the reason why Imura's car got out control right?" Haru deadpanned which didn't seem to amuse Suzue at all.
"I'm afraid I can't leak any information further. I would like to give u an advice Katou sama. Please try to stay out of this case. Why don't you come over for a cup of tea? It might help to cool your stressful mind. Stay there okay? I'll be sending a car." Suzue didn't let Haru to deny her invitation before hanging up.
'Kanbe. KANBE! HIS ENITRE FAMILY AND BUSINESS PISS ME OFF SO FREAKING MUCH. DAMN IT.' Haru exhaled sharpely only to choke on his own spit. Yuki, the white and wild fujoshi neko stood there smirking at a 10 mitre distance. The cat looked healthier and more erotic.
"What are u even drooling for? Do I look like your Tuna fish or something?" Haru shouted not sparing her a single glance.
"Calm down darling. Aren't u upset over Kanbe's change in attitude? Y'all are doing great. I'm loving the plot. I'm always up for angst." Yuki whiskered.
" Oh hell I'm not. Why would I be upset?"
"Tsundere I see. Absolutely perfect for the protagonist. Dayum!" Yuki flashed a sly smile.
' Angst? plot? Haru got completely lost and confused. Ugh! this cat's messing with the wrong police officer' Haru thought.
"You're going to Kanbe's mansion right? I shall give u some tips as your mentor. Do dress up properly. Talk less. Be a bit formal. Don't forget to bring fresh roses for his grandmother aish why r u blushing Haru? It's for his granny. His granny is your trump card. U need to impress her asap n U'll get your man. Also about Suzue oh that's my favourite girl, she already ships u two so hard. You can ask her for help too.
Take Suzue's permission if u can take care of Daisuke for the night. She'll tell u everything about Kanbe's liking. I'll repeat. As soon as he returns make sure to take his blaser off of his shoulders. He must be very tired uk. Be sure to prepare his favourite snacks and tea."
"I'm not his wife." Haru hissed.
"U know u like it Haru. Stop pretending."
And with that the fujoshi neko left the beat red headed there who kept analyzing his life decisions all over again.
