It has been 2 years since Mal came to live on Mount Olympus and it was good for her but there were some problems with her arrival. When the rest of the heroes found out that Hades daughter was living in Auradon, some wanted to throw her back, especially Queen Leah. The argument of letting Mal stay went on for a while until a compromise came by stating that Mal can stay in Auradon but must stay at Mt Olympus for the next 10 years and so the young baby demigoddess is being homeschooled by family. What the rest of the heroes don't know is that she will still visit her father on the Isle.
When Mal turns 5 years old, she spends the day with her parents on the Isle and when it's time to return home, she has got a party from the rest of her family.
As Mal is being homeschooled, she is quite talented, she learns now to speak Greek, learns how to control her magic, she is very talented when it comes to art, and learns her Greek history, family, and Mythology. Today she was going to learn how to govern and rule, an important lesson for the Princess of the Underworld. During a social party, when a few heroes attend with their children, Mal becomes quick friends with Jasmine and Aladdin son, Aziz, Eric and Ariel daughter, Melody and fairy godmother daughter Jane.
As grows up over the years, she decides to change her hair blonde, and She learns different things from all of the Gods and Goddesses, and she always enjoys seeing her father during her six months visit. After 10 years, the council was called to discuss Mal's exile. Mal stood in the middle of the room, Persephone behind her. While still some like Leah want to throw Mal back to the Isle of the Lost, many heroes like Hercules decide that Mal should finally get to join the rest of society. The council has voted in favor of Mal staying in Auradon, this makes all the Gods happy. While Mal is finally allowed to rejoin society, Persephone and Hades talk about only letting her join a school like Auradon prep when she's at least 15.
After years later, Mal has finally been enrolled at Auradon prep.
